The home steam canning system uses less water and heat, therefore reducing your start up time and the total canning time from start to finish.  Your canning jars sit on a grate in the pan instead of directly on the bottom and the lid fits down tight over the jars creating a very tight seal.  Simply fill the shallow pan with water and boil.  Place up to 7 quart size or pint size canning jars on the removable rack.  Bring the water back to a boil to create steam.  Once the steam reaches the ideal level per the instruction manual you will begin timing your jars.  This all combines together for a quick and efficient home canning experience.

The Home Steam Canner is constructed of durable rust-resistant aluminum with cool-touch handles allowing safe and secure handling and transport.  The canner can also be used as a 15 quart kettle when turned upside down. Hand wash all parts with hot, soapy water. Back to Basics includes an owner's manual complete with recipes for this Home Steam Canner. This canning system is not recommended for glass-top stoves.
