Q: I am looking for a 7 Qt. Stand mixer. I don't bake a great deal, but when I do it's a huge batch of bread or multiples of a recipe. Can you tell me the difference between the waring 7 qt and the cuisinart 7 qt. My research says they are the same? Thanks very much.
A: The main differences between the Cuisinart SM-70 stand mixer and the Waring WSM7Q stand mixer are the wattage, warranty and housing . The Waring WSM7Q is 850 watts, is constructed of die-cast housing, is NSF and ETL listed, and comes with a 2 Year Commercial Warranty. The Cuisinart SM-70 is 1000 watts, is available in White, Brushed Chrome, or Black painted finish, and comes with a 3 Year Warranty on Mixer, 5 Years on Motor for home use only. For large batches of bread we would recommend the Bosch Universal Mixer.

Q: Will a 5 qt mixing bowl fit this mixer?? The 7 qt bowl is much to large for one cake mix, and would prefer to have another smaller bowl
A: The 5 quart bowl will not work on the 7 quart mixer, due to the whips/beaters etc. not fitting correctly.
