The Grind & Brew coffee maker is going to change the way you enjoy your coffee! This thermal coffee maker has the coffee grinder built directly into the unit, grinding fresh beans for every brew. Grinding the beans fresh allow the oils, aroma and flavor to be fully extracted from the beans. Extracting these oils provides a full flavor for each cup that is brewed. When you decide to use pre-ground coffee you can simply switch the grinder off, then back on when you want to use whole beans. Cuisinart equips this machine with a permanent gold cone filter and charcoal water filter ensuring excellent taste with every cup. This unit comes with a 10 cup thermal carafe wrapped in a stainless steel finish for a timeless design. This coffee maker is fully programmable allowing a brew time to be set any time a fresh cup is needed. The control panel is easy to read, user friendly, and straight forward making setting the coffee maker a snap. The stainless steel thermal carafe can keep coffee hot for hours without the risk of burning the coffee. Since the coffee is only heated during brewing the flavor is never compromised. The only disadvantage to a thermal coffee maker is that the coffee cannot be kept hot for extended periods of time.

*This coffee maker shares a design with the DGB-625BC Grind and Brew unit. The difference between these two coffee makers being that this unit does not have a plate warmer and this unit is equipped with the thermal carafe.The thermal carafe holds only 10 cups due to the carafe insulated lining, whereas the thinner walls of the glass unit allow it to hold 2 additional cups.

Q: Can I use paper filters with this coffeemaker? Is it easy to clean?

A: Use only the Cuisinart® Gold Tone Commercial Style Filter or standard #4 basket paper filter with this unit. The unit is not difficult to clean.

Q: How long does it take to brew a pot of coffee? We are currently using a Bunn fast brew coffee maker, but have had many problems with the unit leaking. How long is your product designed to last?

A: The Cuisinart Grind & Brew Coffee Maker is made to last. However, the brewing time is quick but not as quick as the Bunn Fast Brew Coffee Makers. Keep in mind that the Grind & Brew will have more parts to maintain because of the grinding feature.
