Q: 1) Do all of the pans (8,10 & 12") have lids that fit them? 2) Is the non-stick surface metal utensil safe? 3) Is the cookware including all saute pans induction suitable?

A: The 12" skillet comes with a lid. The 8" and 10" skillets do not come with a lid. Cuisinart recommend using plastic or wooden utensils in your Cuisinart® Cookware to maintain its appearance and performance. However, the Chef’s Classic™ Non-Stick Hard Anodized line is metal-utensil safe. Refrain from cutting foods or using sharp utensils such as forks, knives, mashers or whisks that can scratch the cooking surface. The Cuisinart Chefs classic nonstick cookware set can be used on Halogen, glass ceramic, gas, and electric stoves only.

Q: Do the handles on the pans/pots and lids get hot?

A: They have cool grip handles. They do not get hot when they are on the stove.

Great! - I purchased this product to replace some relatively inexpensive cookware. While its still early in the life of the product thus far I'm impressed with the evenness of the heat distribution and cleanup. The cookware looks nice and I love the number of pieces for the price. My daughter saw the 17 pieces and asked, "how many pots do you need Mom?" This is just ENOUGH. THANKS!
