The Cuisinart Coffee maker is a 12 cup model and features an automatic brew cycle with 24 hour programmability. This unit is designed to have a classic look and has stainless steel around the buttons and clock display. Cuisinart has equipped this coffee maker with a 12 cup glass carafe with an ergonomic handle and dripless pour spout. This coffee maker also has a self cleaning feature for easy maintenance. Other wonderful features on this Cuisinart 12 cup unit are the charcoal water filter, gold cone filter, and the three year limited warranty. This coffee maker is available in 3 finishes black, white, and pink to fit many tastes. When you do not need a full 12 cups of coffee you can select the 1-4 cup feature. Since this Cuisinart 12 cup unit is programmable you can set the time you want to start the brew and have it ready without manually starting it. The DCC-1100 also has a Brew Pause which allows the carafe to be removed for a cup during brewing and placed back to start the coffee flow into the carafe again. A: To set the time on your Cuisinart Programmable Coffee Maker you will need to turn the Function Knob to Clock. Press the hour and minute buttons to adjust to the appropriate time. Then turn the Function Knob back to the appropriate setting.
