Q: I have a Decosonic Vacuum Bag Sealer No. 828 and have not been able to find replacement rolls. I checked your manual and the vacuum sealer machines appear to be the same. Do you know if in fact they are the same machine or if your replacement rolls will be suitable for my vacuum sealer. Are Deni sealers and replacement rolls sold in Canada or would I purchase from the US online? I live in Camrose, Alberta which is south of Edmonton. Thank You for your response.

A: I called the manufacturer, and they said that they never made the Decosonic vacuum sealer, but the representative from Deni that I spoke with said that she has worked there for 16 years, and she vaguely recalls people in the past using the Deni Freshlock bags for the Decosonic vacuum sealer. Based off of this information, yes, it will probably work, but we can't guarantee it. As for whether or not they are sold in Canada, I do not know. You will probably have to contact the manufacturer at 800-DENI-VAC (800-336-4822).
