FoodSaver Round Canister Set

    two different quality canister - I love the vacuum canisters, however, the ones as pictured above get star cracks from the center out on the bottom and no longer hold a seal. Some did that on the first use but calling the Sunbeam company I was informed there is no warranty on the canisters. THe ones that work are wonderful (hence the 3 rating) but roughly half of all the ones I have purchased at different times from different places developed those radiating cracks on the bottoms rather quickly. My vacuum units have both had canister settings. I never bump them and have padded the shelf they sit on. I do not own a dishwasher so I wonder if it is that the molding machine pressure was set incorrectly and that made a weak point at the injection site on some of them. If they can ever fix that defect I think they are beyond wonderful.
