kitchenaid is going to the dogs - |
June 28, 2009
|
Lasted less than 7 months and quit. Had I read all the complaints about this coffee maker Iwould have bought something else. a $100 coffee maker should last longer than these are lasting and since it's obviously a defective circuit in the unit and everyone seems to be having the same error code that's not repairable I am astounded that Kitchenaid is doing absolutely nothing to make things right for those of us who got these as gifts or are past the 1 year limited warranty. I will not be buying KitchenAid products any more since obviously they don't value loyal customers ( I guess that means I won't be buying anything Whirlpool since they now own Kitchenaid )

Very Unhappy Camper - |

I bought my KitchenAid Coffee Maker in December, 2007. To my dismay, the carafe broke in early October, 2008. Try to find a replacement without paying $40 or more in Canada. So much for that - two replacement carafes will buy another coffee maker! Other than that, the coffee maker was satisfactory.

Very Nice... - |

I would recommend this coffee maker to anyone. It is fast, makes wonderful coffee, and is very attractive as a bonus. It has a lot of "extras" as well that gives it an edge above some of the others I looked at in a similar price range.

it's allright - |

Bought in July '09. Makes good coffee. We discovered that you have to watch the auto pour feature...if the carafe is not placed securely to open the drip control, it will not allow the coffee to pour into the pot, and you guessed it, it ends up on the counter and grounds are in the coffee. We adjusted to that, and we like it.

Kitchen Aid Coffee Maker - |
February 4, 2010
|
It worked about 1 year-just past the warrenty expiration date and then gave the infamous Err2 message. I love my other Kitchen Aid products-and I have many-but this coffee maker was a terrible disappointment. Not only would I not advise friends to buy this product, I would greatly discourage their doing so. Thank you.

Extremely Disappointed - |

I bought this high end coffee maker at Lowes for over $100. In less than a week I got an error 2 and the coffee maker will no longer brew. We followed the instructions in the manual but continued to get the error 2 on display. I'm getting tired of buying low quality products made in China for such high prices. I expect more from the companies we've known for so long. I would rather see these products made here in the USA, even if it means paying more for an item that works.

My #1 Coffee Maker - |
January 6, 2010
|
Makes delicious HOT coffee every time cup after cup. I was recently received a Keurig Single-Serve Coffee Maker as a gift and quickly exchanged it for a Kitchen-Aid...AND there was nothing wrong with the one I have-just wanted to update it. I'm completely satisfied. You can't beat the price that Everything Kitchens offer!

I love it! - |

I actually cashed in some points at ******.com and picked this Kitchen Aid coffee maker as my prize, so I got it for free. :) However, if I had had to pay for it, I'd still love it. I think maybe it has something to do with the water filter, becuase this coffee maker makes EXCELLENT coffee! It's quick, too, and I like the timer that lets you know when it's ready.

Kitchenaid coffee maker lasted less than 3 months - |
March 14, 2010
|
We purchased a Kitchenaid stainless steel coffee maker (Java Studio). Within 3 months, it no longer worked (showing Err2 message). In other words, I just spent $34 for per month for the privilege of brewing my own coffee. It would have been cheaper for me to go to Starbucks. I'm more than irritated. From what I've read, Kitchenaid will do nothing for you unless you have kept the receipt. We are taking it back to the store from which it was purchased in hopes that they will exchange it for a brand that has some quality assurance and stands by their products. Shame on you, Kitchenaid.

So disappointed in Kithcen Aid - |
February 20, 2010
|
I received this coffee pot from my husband. I loved everything about it. I had it a little over a year and it had err popping up everytime I tried to turn it on. Then my husband determined it was the heating element. When I called kitchen aid to get the element they said it was the problem but it would have to be fixed by a tech. at my cost. I told them how disappointed I was in kitchen aid and they sent me a new one at their cost. That was very nice of them. Then in the same amount of time, it also did the same thing. Now we are trying to decide what brand coffee maker we are going to get. We do know it will not be kitchen aid. I know things can go wrong, but kitchen aid needs to take these coffee makers off the shelf and reclaim their good name.

Good Buy - but need water filters - |
May 23, 2009
|
The coffee is excellent from the Kitchen Aid Coffee Maker! This is one of the best buys & best quality. However, you do need to buy the water filter refills seperately. I can only find them on-line. This is a problem for some people who don't shop online.

Have had this coffee pot only a couple of months and getting the Error 2 msg which apparently can't be fixed. Very disappointed since we loved this coffee maker and it brewed very good, hot coffee.

This is my third Kitchen Aid Coffee Maker. I first bought a 12 cup that had a recall after a year or so and was replaced at no charge to me. It was replaced with a 10 cup the 12 cup was not avaiable. I still use the 10 cup it is a couple of years old. I saw the 14 cup coffee maker, I liked the looks and bought it. I love it. They are all great.

Kitchenaid coofee maker going bad! - |
November 27, 2009
|
I had the Kictchen aid Coffee Maker KCM5340B less than 8 months and it quit. A $100. coffee maker should last a long time. Only an year warranty and Kitchenaid will only do something if you have an receipt, even though it was registered when it was purchased. What about the One-year hassle free replacement warranty! It's obviously they don't stand behind there words.
