This is a replacement white enamel coated beater for Kitchenaid 4 1/2 quart mixers, and is made by Kitchenaid. It fits all Kitchenaid Stand Mixers starting with K45, K45SS, KSM90, K45SS, KSM75, KSM90, KSM95, KSM100, KSM110, KSM103, & KN15. This flat beater is what you use for most mixing, including batters, biscuits, cookies, and more. You do not use this beater for whip cream, meringue, and other whipping, or for heavy doughs such as bread.

The coating is an epoxy/polyester hybrid powder coat called Corvel 40-1042. This material is FDA approved.
