This new KitchenAid Flex Edge Beater for 5 1/2 - 6 Quart Bowl-Lift Mixers scrapes the sides of your mixing bowl while mixing. Have you ever made a cream cheese frosting, and had to stop mixing to scrape the sides of the bowl to get it to mix properly? Well, this Kitchenaid Flex Edge Beater fixes this problem, as it continually scrapes the sides of the bowl while mixing. This Kitchenaid Flex Edge Beater fits both the Pro 600 and the Proline KitchenAid mixers, as well as other models listed below. This beater is similar to the "Beater Blade" made by a different company to fit the Kitchen Aid mixers. However unlike the Beater Blade, the Kitchen Aid Flex Beater will not void your warranty, as it is manufactured by KitchenAid directly.
The Kitchenaid Flex Beater has a single side flex edge to avoid premature wear on your Kitchenaid Mixer head.

A: This KFE6L is made by Kitchen Aid and will fit the Kitchen Aid Pro 600 Stand Mixer. The other scraping beater we carry is made by Pourfect and the 5056 series will also fit the Kitchen Aid Pro 600 Stand Mixer.
