L'Equip FilterPro Food 530 Watt Dehydrator With 6 Trays
The New! Lequip Dehydrator has a 530 watt heater core that makes for quick and easy dehydration. This model features a new advanced air filtration system that pulls fresh air in and moves old air out to cut down on flavor mixing that can happen when dehydrating multiple items at once. The New Lequip dehydrator features a digital timer so that you can "Set it and Forget it", the unit will automatically shut down to avoid over drying. Lequip has equipped this machine with a microprocessor that checks 200x a second the temperature inside of the unit for constant temperature control. The Dehydrator ships with 6 trays to start but is expandable up to 20 trays, at maximum capacity the trays have to be rotated. Lequip has backed this unit with a ten year warranty on the base and one year on the trays. Extra Trays are available and sold in sets of two.

 Breeze To Use -
I bought this Lequip Dehydrator and was please at the prompt shipping and arrival of package. My first batch of jerky and dried fruit was simple and everything worked well. Then, on the second batch, a problem appeared. The power switch stopped working on this food dehydrator. I was surprised, because I had only used the power switch about 6 times. They sent me a return shipping label and I returned the base unit as instructed. After waiting about two weeks I called to check the status and was told that it was scheduled for bench time on Friday, April 10, 2009.
Now, it’s April 20 and I called to get an update. They said that something went wrong and a replacement base had not been scheduled after the technician checked my returned unit. I was promised that one would be shipped out by today.
So far, I’m still happy, despite the premature failure. The customer service people have been courteous and prompt in returning my calls/e-mails. One confusing issue is what warrantee does this model have? The box (and web site) is printed as 12 years, the manual says 6 years, and customer service said 10 years. If it works for 6 years, I’d be satisfied with the service I got. I hope it was a fluke that I got a failed dehydrator so soon. But, I’m optimistic and believe the next one will last much longer.

 Look but don't touch -
Bought the dehydrator in May. Got it very quick. Used it for some fruit. Then used it for some jerky. Half way through the jerky the base quit on us. Shipped it back to manufacturer. Took over a month to get it "Fixed" and returned. Used it again after getting it back. Got 3 hours into second round of Jerky, dryer fan quit working. Now we get to go through the month long process again. Good thing I did not actually want to use the product. But it sure looks good on my counter. NOT.

Good Dehydrator -
Bought the dehydrator a few years ago for my husband to make his jerky with. Haven't had any problems. Bought some additional trays for more capacity. Everything has been fine.

I love this food dehydrator! First, I replaced my my old circular dehydrator after all but 3 of the trays broke over time, washing them. These trays are SOLID + 6 mesh screens make clean up a breeze as they wash off QUICKLY with a wet sponge. Second, the timer and precise temp controls, meaning all my veggie treats are guaranteed to be LIVE foods, proven by the retention of deep green color ONLY achieved by keeping the temp under 117 degrees. Third, and this speaks DIRECTLY to this web site, the extra filters were missing. The store contacted the company and 3 days later they were here. Great unit, Great service, Authorized dealer, the ONLY way the manufacturer will honor the warranty, Free shipping, what else can you ask for. Thank you.
