I have had this Waring blender for nearly a year, making smoothies with ice and/or frozen fruit about 4 or more days a week. Still blending great in just a minute or so. Maybe a bit loud, but I don't mind. Fits under the cupboards, washes up nice. I got the stainless carafe as well, and it will make/keep your concoction *very* cold! Love this blender. (Posted on 2/20/12)
