This monster blends everything you put in it. I disagree with the noise, depending on what you put in it, it's extremely loud. On the bright side, this Waring blender blends the fiber in fruits and vegatables into a liquid so you dont waste the pulp when you blend health drinks!

So I bought this instead of a vita mix. The one drawback is that you don't have a plunger thingy with the Waring, but on the plus side this thing is built rock solid, and even at top speed it is quiet. I really don't think you would need an enclosure if you were using this commercially, it's so quiet. I've had mine for several months now, and no complaints.
