Aqua Rain Gravity Water Filter Model: 200/400

    Excellent system - Prior to my purchase, I was looking for a water purification system that was dependable, would last for a long period of time, was low maintenance and was self contained. A friend recommended this Aqua Rain water filter. So, based on his recommendations and the construction of the unit, I made the purchase. We have had this Aqua Rain Water Filter now for several months and have used it every day. The taste of the water that it produces reminds me of the pure mountain spring water. Every household should have one of these systems in it! This is a "must have" system for every family!!

    great filter - I have had my filter for over two years and the water tastes clean and refreshing. I haven't even had to replace my filters yet. Because we don't have to buy bottled water we save a lot of money and drink better water!

    Excellent USA Made Product essential for survival - I purchased an Aqua Rain model 200 with an additional filter. It seems to be of good construction. The filters are ceramic. They fit neatly into the correct slots. I can have one or two filters in at a time, but I only use one. It filters slower with one filter, but it lasts longer. I have searched high and low for a decent water filter meant for a large house hold. There is none that filter better than the Aqua Rain. In my opinion everyone should have one of these filters in their kitchen just to filter their tap. It makes great clean, fresh tasting water... instead of the chlorine taste we usually have. The water from the Aqua Rain water filter makes the best coffee in the world. It's a small price to pay for the peace of mind this water filter provides. Not only will you be free of worry about ever having to boil water, lead from your pipes, or other harmful chemicals in your children's drinking water. You will notice that everything tastes better without the chlorine taste.

    Very Pleased - For weeks, I looked for the right, home-based gravity water filter to fit my needs. It came down to three companies, after many vendor contacts, research, and spec and user comparisons. Though I can't personally speak to the quality of the other two brands, I can say that I'm very, very glad that I chose the Aqua Rain unit, and with the best deal and customer service, so far, from the Everything Kitchens seller. I've been using my AR 400 unit every day for about two months now. I'm fortunate that my tap water is of good quality already, based on annual test results provided by the city in which I live. This means that, under these conditions, I anticipate that my four filter cartridges will last me at least two years, if not more. What a savings over what I paying at my local H20 store. Plus, I no longer have to spend time and gas, lugging 10-15 gallons of water home from the store. Granted, the store's reverse-osmosis filtration likely yielded greater fluoride removal, if not other substances, too. But, in weighing the many cost-benefit variables and health issues, overall I feel good about using my Aqua Rain gravity water filter. Short of paying hundreds of dollars to have my Aqua Rain filtered water tested by an independent lab, I can attest to the following: - The faint chlorine scent in my tap water is not detectable after Aqua Rain filtration (at least not by my and my husband's nose!) - The water has a silky-soft look and feel to it (I don't know what this might indicate, except that the water is cleaner, smoother.) - The improved taste is definitely noticeable. - I can't prove what quantitative, positive difference the silver (embedded in the cartridges) may have on the water, and possibly upon my and my family's health thereby (based on what I've read from non-Aqua Rain sources), but I do like that the silver is in there nonetheless -- an element not contained in many other water filter cartridges. - In my experience, stainless steel is superior to any plastic (including BPA-free plastic); plastic does have an affect on the taste of water (and who knows what other effects), but not so stainless steel, which is lighter, safer, and easier to clean (more practical) than glass. - I can rest assured that -- if an emergency arises where water is available but is NOT potable, and electrical power and/or gas (for boiling water) is also NOT available -- the Aqua Rain gravity filter will filter out dangerous water-borne pathogens. - The Aqua Rain filter is so easy to use; just keep it filled, as needed, and you have a ready supply at all times. - The build and parts are of excellent quality, yet still more affordable than other unit brands. I've strongly recommend the Aqua Rain gravity filter units to my family and friends, and to compare other vendors with Everything Kitchens. I doubt they'll find better. And, no, in no capacity do I work for or otherwise benefit from the Aqua Rain company or Everything Kitchens. I'm simply an individual customer who was determined to find a healthy, more practical, self-reliant, off-grid means to drink good water. And I hope others experience the same satisfaction as I have. I believe in patronizing good companies that offer good quality and excellent customer service, without gouging customers' hard-earned funds. Aqua Rain and Everything Kitchens fit both bills.
