LOVE this Ice Shaver!!! Purchased it, got home and used it immediately since all you need is ice (always available) and either fruit syrup, juice, or any other drink that you can pour onto the shaved ice. Works beautifully! Ice shavings were perfect. Love the coarse or fine feature. There are 5 members in my family. We all enjoyed the treats and had seconds!! Each made in just seconds... Would recommend in a heart beat.

Very convienient, fun to use, found out when used for home use only, it doesn't last very long. My first back to basic electric ice shaver lasted a year with an average of 4 times a week use then it died. I bought my second machine from the back to basic series figuring the first one was defective I'd give the brand a second try due to the low cost and the simplicity and output of ice it creates so simply! Very safe to use also. But the 2nd one lasted almost 6 months. I'm trying another model of the back to basic electric ice shaver.
