Basic Smoothie Elite - I got a used Back to Basics Smoothie Elite blender, and it worked great but, I tried to straighten the spout and broke the spout. It was on at an angle and wouldn't let it set right in the holder. It does get if I can get the container replaced!

Back to Basics Smoothie Maker Elite - We have been enjoying smoothies made from this smoothie machine for several years now. It is an excellent product. Yes, there are plastic parts but that's also why it cost us much less for the machine, and why it's so light and easy to wash and handle. Our stir stick did break eventually, and we've ordered a new one from Back to Basics. There was no waiting when I called for a service representative, and it should arrive in 5-7 days. We even chose not replace our blender because the smoothie maker does such a good job of blending....although an emulsifier would probably handle bigger jobs better for more expense.

broken - I HAD this item and it worked just ok. The spout broke so I couldn't even use it. I like the concept but is a bad thing when it break and you can't get it replaced. Let me just flush my money myself .

Back to Basics Smoothie maker Elite - Made of plastic and it does not last! The blade on base turns but the plastic blade doesn't turn , it shreds the plastic!!!!!!

Smoothie Maker - Had dreams of making smoothies like I get at my gym, except the reality was like driving a clunker down the road when the used car salesman promised ferrari-like experience. Mine of course being the clunker.
