Blendtec Home Blender Jar - Basic 2 Quart
This new Blendtec two quart home Jar is made from BPA-free copolyester material and has an with easy open lid that features all the unique Blendtec advantages. The classic square Blendtec design combined with the special blade design make for a very efficient blending jar. This special square jar creates a vortex that minimizes cavitation and the blade keeps the ingredients pulled down meaning better blends in less time. This special combination of features allows the Blendtec 2 quart jars to be used without a tamper like some of their competitors.

A: You will need a FourSide Jar, part number 40-609-50 is the correct jar needed. No other jar is recommended for that machine.

A: Yes, this carafe will fit the Blendtec ABC Blenders but it is not a commercial rated jar and is not NSF certified for commercial use.

A: This jar will fit the Blendtec ES3. However, please be aware that this jar is for home use and the ES3 is a commercial blender. So if you are using your blender in a commercial environment you would need the commercial NSF certified jar model 40-609-60.

The motor is strong, pity the jar does not last well at all. No warranty when you buy from Amazon.

I have had my Blendtec HP3A Blender for 4 months. Don't know how I ever lived without it. It truly is worth every cent and does what it claims. I have protein shakes every day, and look forward to making them.

 Blendtec 2 Qt. Blending Jar with Blade -
I have the new jar for more than 6 months. I use it on smoothies, sauces, fruit shakes, and dressings .It performs well only loses the shine and now is foggy. I do not expect that for a $50 jar, but we know that everything is made in China now days, so expect chinese quality (very poor) at American prices. I did not use it more than a 100 times. What can I say? Paid $400 for the blender and did not have another choice now. I recommend the competition Vita-mix blender. Much better.

Works Like A Charm -
Got this when my original carafe failed. Turns out, I could have saved myself some expense by contacting Blendtec directly as they have a lifetime guarantee. So I'll have a second carafe which works great.

 GREAT Blender -
Great blender. The seals in the jars have a limited life. We have had our machine for many years. The jar's seal starts to leak and or come apart in 1 to 2 years of everyday use. Love the blender, just wish the seals had a longer life.

 Works but now leaking -
Design and function of these Blendtec jars are great. Enjoyed it for 93 cycles before it sprung a leak. Calling warranty folks now.

When working it is a great product. -
Ours seized up about a year ago but was replaced for free by Blendtec. It has worked well ever since.
