- Will the jar fit the K-Tec Champ Model C-4. I have the combination mixer and blender and had this since mid-1990's. The seal around the blade leaks and need a replacement. Thank you!
- You will need a FourSide Jar, part number 40-609-50 is the correct jar needed. No other jar is recommended for that machine.

- Will this jar fit the k-tec Champ HP3 High Performance blender? I have had this blender for 7 years and I use it every day but now the seal around the blade leaks. I just need a new jar that fits.
- Yes, the 40-609-50 will fit the older style K-Tec Champ HP3 blender.

- Will this jar fit Blendtec model ES3?
- This jar will fit the Blendtec ES3. However, please be aware that this jar is for home use and the ES3 is a commercial blender. So if you are using your blender in a commercial environment you would need the commercial NSF certified jar model 40-609-60.

Wish I'd bought a Vitamix Review by Guest
Rating My second carafe is now toast. When the first one leaked the K-tec people refused to help me because it was ~1.5 years from purchase - and they told me that I needed to leave it upright when drying after washing. Now the seal on the second is shot, lots of friction, and I have to spend $79 for a plastic cup with a blade in it. Feh. (Posted on 3/7/13)

Rating Great blender. The seals in the jars have a limited life. We have had our machine for many years. The jar's seal starts to leak and or come apart in 1 to 2 years of everyday use. Love the blender, just wish the seals had a longer life. (Posted on 5/11/11)
Blendtec 2 Qt. Blending Jar with Blade Review by Guest
Rating I have the new jar for more than 6 months. I use it on smoothies, sauces, fruit shakes, and dressings .It performs well only loses the shine and now is foggy. I do not expect that for a $50 jar, but we know that everything is made in China now days, so expect chinese quality (very poor) at American prices. I did not use it more than a 100 times. What can I say? Paid $400 for the blender and did not have another choice now. I recommend the competition Vita-mix blender. Much better.

Rating Got this when my original carafe failed. Turns out, I could have saved myself some expense by contacting Blendtec directly as they have a lifetime guarantee. So I'll have a second carafe which works great.
