Q: Will it really be available by late August, or will it be later than that?
A: Unfortunately when an item is out of stock at the manufacturer the restock date is simply an estimate provided by the manufacturer. The item could become available previous to that estimated date or the date could be moved out further by the manufacturer. We are at the mercy of the manufacturer and cannot guarantee a definite date.

Q: How does this Breville juicer compare to the Jack Lalanne power juicers?
A: The most important differences between the BJE200XL Breville Compact Juicer and the Jack Lalanne Power Juicer is going to be power and quality. The BJE200XL juicer has a 700 watt motor while the Jack Lalanne Juicer only has 250 watts so it will power through tougher juicing jobs with much more ease. We no longer sell the Jack LaLanne Juicer due to quality issues and a high rate of returns. Numerous customer complaints were received on this juicer and the manufacturers customer service and lack of warranty.

I love this juicer. It is easy to use, quick and very clean. I love how the pitcher attaches so that every drop of juice is captured! I did compare it to the Jack LaLanne and there is no comparison!

Breville Juicer -
I am a first time juicer and after reading tons of reviews and watching the "Fat Sick and Nearly Dead" this was the brand I wanted to buy. I have had my Breville Juicer for a week now and I absolutely love it. I crave juice and it is so much fun and quick to clean just make sure when you are cleaning the mess knife bowl to use the brush real good and it will clean every bit out. Keep it clean! ;)

Rarely does a product exceed its hype, but this Breville Juicer does. I love everything about it the quickness, the ease of cleanup and the quietness. I had juicers before that gave off a squeaks, sounded like a old pair of sneakers. This juicer is so quiet you can hardly hear it.

I had bought the Jack Lalanne juicer first. I was unhappy with a number of things. After one use the carrots stained the container. It left my counter a mess. The pulp wasn't as dry as I had expected it to be and was very chunky. It is whisper quiet.
I bought the Breville Compact juicer to compare. I had both side by side.
The Breville Juicer had a much finer pulp. The fitted spout pitcher made for spotless counters. It was easy to clean. No stains. The pulp was finer and the Breville Juicer was a tad louder but I am absolutely 110% satisfied with this product.
The only thing I wish this Breville offered was a true stainless steel and not a painted steel look. One should be careful not to chip the paint.

Great juicing machine, but I used it a lot and found that if I wanted to juice anything over a quart I had to empty the pulp out. I highly recommend this juicer for smaller juicing needs and very easy to wash and maintain. Very superior to Jack Lalanne's juicer.

I too had an old juicer that was possessed and had to be held down and together while in use. I like my new one from Breville. It is easy to assemble, use, and clean. It extracts so much more than my old one. I use it everyday now and keep it on the counter because it is not an eye sore.

LOVE THIS JUICER -
Super easy to take apart and put back together. It also isn't insanely loud and looks nice in the kitchen if it stays out on your counter. This juicer is also super powerful and does a great job at keeping the juice and pulp separate. For the price, it can't be beat.

Breville Compact Juicer -
This Breville Juicer is very easy to use and clean. Quality of the juice has me using my own fresh carrot juice in my thermos for energy bursts on my morning walks. I chose the Breville after reading numerous complaints about Jack Lalanne's poor performance.
