Q: what is the lowest temperature the toaster oven can cook at?
A: The lowest temperature for the Breville compact toaster oven is 120 degrees on BAKE, PIZZA, ROAST, and the RE-HEAT settings.

Q: What are the differences between the three Breville smart ovens? Just size? Or are there functional differences?
A: The BOV800XL has both conventional and convection functions. This is the largest oven of the 3 models and is the only one that has both functions.

Q: Does the unit have quartz heating elements?
A: Yes the BOV650 compact toaster oven does have quartz heating elements.

Q: Does the 13" pizza stone fit inside the compact smart oven or only the larger one? Also - what other accessories can I purchase for the compact oven? thank you
A: A 12" pizza stone will fit in the compact smart oven. However, a 13" will not fit. The only other accessory that we offer is the Breville Bamboo Cutting Board that fits on top of the oven.

Q: What is the total depth with the handle from Back to Front - is it really 14.25" or is it more with the Handle?
A: The reason for the confusion probably is there is 2 bumps on the back, a bump where an internal part sits in the middle of the back but longer. The 2 buffers at the lower portion of the oven to keep it from being pushed against the wall. Considering the 2 inch handle extension and 2 inch lower bumper extension the total depth is 14 ¾.

Q: Will it hold a 9x12 casserole?...the Oster XL holds a 9x13
A: No, the largest size this compact toaster oven can hold is a 7.5 inch x 11 inch baking pan. This toaster oven will also hold the following: 9 inch square pan or loaf pan, 11 inch pie plate or a 6-c muffin pan.

Q: How many rack adjustments does the BOV650 Breville Compact Toaster Oven have? Does the outside, sides and top, get hot?
A: According to Breville's owner manual there is a top rack, a middle rack, and a bottom rack adjustment. And yes the outside of the Toaster Oven including the oven door does get hot during use.

surface of the oven are hot during and after
operation. To prevent burns or personal
injury, always use protective hot pads or
insulated oven mitts, or use handles and
knobs where available, when inserting,

Alternatively, allow the oven to cool down
before handling.

Q: Dimensions are critical for me. Is the 16.5 inch length the dimension across the front of the unit? Similarly, is the 14.25 inch width equivalent to the depth of the unit (from front of the unit to the back of the unit)?
A: Per Breville the dimensions are 10.25" high x 16.5" wide across the front x 15.5" deep from front to back (inches H x W x D).

 Best toaster oven ever. -
In the last ten years I've had four toaster ovens of various brands. The Breville is far superior to any of them. It toasts and bakes beautifully. The settings are easy to see and adjust. I love it!

Breville BOV650 -
I am extremely happy with this toaster oven. I don't think I have used my stove oven for a year, i.e. since I got this one. Toasts are perfect, and so is pizza, salmon, fish sticks, cookies and roasted nuts, to name the few things I use it for most often. It heats up fast and does a great job. Well worth the money.
