 BAD PLATES!!!! -
For the premium price of this unit, the plates should not leave behind a black powdery residue after being washed!! BEWARE OF THESE PLATES!! It doesn't matter if you hand wash or put them in a dishwasher, the black powdery substance will stain hands and every towel they come in contact with. Breville is very much aware of this problem and has not taken any action to correct it!!
