The Bunn NHB Coffee Pot is the newest drip brewer in the Bunn line, and it was a step in a different direction from Bunn’s classic designs – past and present. The design changes are purely cosmetic and the NHB packs the same list of features and performance found on all Bunn coffee pots. Its foot print is slightly smaller as well. This new, more styled look has made this brewer one of the most popular models. Modeled after commercial coffee makers, the Bunn NHB coffee machine can brew up to 10 cups of coffee in just three minutes. It utilizes a water reservoir to keep water hot and on standby, always ready to brew a pot of piping hot coffee quickly and without the normal wait time associated with other home brewers. How does the Bunn NHB do this? When you first set the Bunn NHB Coffee Machine up, you add up to 10 cups of cold water to the water reservoir and turn the power switch on. It will take about 15 minutes to heat the water initially. This water will stay hot and ready until you go to brew a pot of coffee. To begin brewing, you simply add cold water to the reservoir, which then displaces the hot water already in the system. This hot water is sent to the filter basket instantly where it Bunn backs up every coffee machine with a three year warranty! In addition you can expect expert support and service from the company that knows a thing or two about coffee machines since they have been in the business for over 50 years!
Simple Controls
Simple and quick operation is the key with the Bunn NHB. There are no timers or clocks. Two switches control the whole operation. The main power switch is located on the side of the machine and it is called the Vacation switch. Since the Bunn NHB is always keeping the water hot, you should turn the brewer off before leaving for extended periods of time (longer than 2 days). When you return, turn on the switch and the machine will be ready to brew coffee after 15 minutes of heating. An illuminated switch located on the front of the machine turns the warming plate for the carafe on or off.
Durable Construction
The housing is made of durable plastic and the water reservoir, visible in the picture, is made of brushed stainless steel.
Hot Plate
Unique to Bunn, the hot plate is made of porcelain and features an on/off switch.
Stainless Steel Boiler
The boiler is made of stainless steel to insure long life and better tasting coffee. It is equipped with a thermostat that regulates the water temperature so that it is kept at the optimum temperature for brewing.
Advanced Spray Head Water Diffuser
In order to achieve the optimum flavor and aroma extraction from the coffee grounds, hot water must saturate all of the grounds early on in the brewing process. Bunn designed the spray head to shower every inch of the coffee grounds.

Your Bunn coffee pot has excellent instructions and brewing tips, and they are key to the proper set up and use of your brewer. Since the Bunn coffee pots are unique in their simple operation, be sure to follow the few steps required to get started. The advanced spray head requires occasional cleaning to prevent lime build up in the screen. Bunn included a clever device for cleaning, which resembles a long slender spring. Detailed instructions on how to use it are included. They also include a complimentary supply of fluted coffee filters. The filters can be purchased from www.buunomatic.com and many grocery outlets.

Q: which of the Bunn coffeemakers are all stainless steel? I don't want any water to come into contact with plastic, I want a coffee maker where the tank and trunk, funnel and spray head are stainless steel and not plastic, does this exist?
A: We have inquired with Bunn-O-Matic in regards to your question. They have responded as follows: "Now all solenoids have plastic bodies. So the water will pass through plastic at some point."

What can I say? It's a BUNN! Replaced our old Bunn Coffee Maker three years ago. Our old one lasted 10 years, our new one gets about 4 pots a day run through it, same as the old one did - every 6 hours. I have spent several dollars on cheaper brands, been let down several times too. Personally , I'm a Bunn man all the way. Awesome product guys, with Bunn, I know that I'll get what I pay for. Quality!!!

Bunn Coffee Maker -
My Bunn coffee maker finally bit the dirt after 8 years. It was reliable in that every cup tasted like the one before. It started to leak around the base one day much to my dismay. I called the service dept. about possible repair. I spoke with a very polite customer service rep. They are covered up to 3 years from date of purchase. I was concerned the repair would cost as much as the purchase price, but I wanted to weigh my options. I am such a fan I would get a new replacement if need be. They don't repair them after they have exceeded the warranty, but she said to send the coffee maker back and a check for $79 and change and it will be replaced with a new one including a 3-year warranty. I'll have to pay the shipping to get it there and she said to get a confirmation of delivery with it. It may end up costing as much going out and getting a new one at a department store, but I'm banking on it being slightly less.

This is the best coffee pot I have ever owned. My coffee tastes better and just can't say enough about it. If you have never owned one, try it. It beats all them other ones.
