The Digital sight gauge on the ThermoFresh Server operates on 4 AAA batteries (Carrying an average of 1 year life span) The easy to use display shows a low battery symbol when battery replacement is required. The innovative fast flow faucet design and large cup clearance on the Bunn ThermoFresh Server make it easy to quickly fill cups, decanters and carafes. The vacuum insulated Bunn Server keeps coffee hot and fresh for hours .
