Canada has two taxes. GST tax which goes to the Canadian Government, and a Provincial tax which goes to Provincial Government. British Columbia, Manitoba, Prince Edward Island, Saskatchewan, Ontario, and Quebec are provinces which have their own tax departments, which collects their own provincial tax. New Brunswick, Newfoundland, and Nova Scotia are smaller provinces which do not collect their own tax, but have merged (Harmonized) the collection of the GST and their provincial taxes with the Canadian government. You can not order a Brand New Vitamix 5000 or Super 5000 blender from any authorized dealer or Vitamix themself without paying the above sales tax, if you are not being charged the tax rate listed above, then your not buying from an authorized dealer and may not be covered by the 7 year warranty or the 30 day in home trial!

Q: Why are the prices in Canadian Dollars

A: Since these are sold through a referral program, Vitamix will be the one charging our customers. Vitamix requires that all Canadian orders to be charged in Canadian Dollars.
