    Terrible - I received this fondue set as a gift. The first time I used it, the porcelain pot cracked while we were in the middle of eating our fondue. The pot cracked from side to side, leaking cheese all over the place and making it completely unusable. It had to be thrown out. I contacted Chantal directly through their website explaining the situation and asked for them to send me a replacement pot. I was put in contact with a Anne who was clearly not interested in making me a happy customer. She reluctantly agreed to send me a replacement pot, but I was informed they were out of stock. She said she would email me when they came back in stock. After several follow up emails to her, the pot finally came back in stock five months after my original email to her. She then wanted me to provide her my credit card information over email so she could charge me a $13 shipping & handling fee for my replacement pot. No thanks! I just can't believe anyone would expect a customer to send their credit card information over email, not to mention the fact that this company is too cheap to just send me a replacement pot totally free of charge. When I responded back stating I didn’t feel comfortable providing her my credit card number over email, I never heard from her again. Bottom line, for this price I certainly would not have expected the pot to crack after one use. Based on my terrible customer service experience with them, I would advise staying away from not only this item, but any product made by Chantal.
