Q: I am confused as to how to cook hard-boiled eggs. I lost the instructions. How much water do I use for 7 eggs? Do I turn the item on first and wait for a buzz before I put the eggs in? Do I use the numerical timer or just the H? Do I have to use an additional timer or does it automatically turn off when the eggs are cooked? Water does leak out onto the counter and it is dangerous to lift the lid due to steam pouring out. Please help. Thank you.

What an appliance - If this egg cooker isn't the best thing since sliced bread, I don't know what is! Put water in the bottom tray, load the rack with however many eggs you want, put the lid on, set the degree of doneness (from poached to hard-boiled), turn it on, and walk away. The thing dings when the eggs are cooked, and they are perfect! A painless way to cook poached and soft-boiled eggs. If you want hard boiled, it's the same thing, and you can put the rack directly in the sink or the refrigerator until you're ready for them. And the eggs don't crack, either, as they frequently do in a pot. What a deal! One of the best Christmas presents I ever received!

Easy egg cooker - The cooker does everything it is billed to do and is an easy appliance to use. The problem with the one I have is, it doesn't sit level. Even then, I wouldn't trade it for the old ways of cooking eggs.

This is Great! - I love this egg cooker. I had a microwave one that exploded eggs everywhere after a few weeks use. This Chef's Choice one works easily, the timer is accurate, and the eggs are easy to peel!

Great Egg Cooker - Eggs are a breeze to peel using this egg steamer. I never thought it could be so easy. The hard boiled eggs are a little oddly shaped at the bigger end when used for deviled eggs...but I won't trade this egg cooker for having to boil eggs in water again. Very fast shipment, also. This was my first order from this website...I'll be back.
