This elegant electric tea kettle is a pleasure to use thanks to its drip-less spout, stay cool handle and revolutionary cordless design. The Tea Kettle has a powerful 1500-watt heating element that boils water quickly and is enclosed below the stainless floor of the kettle so there's no build-up of mineral deposits on it. The large 1-1/3 quart capacity holds more than enough water for a full pot of tea or coffee. Automatically shuts off when water boils; double boil-dry safety mechanism. UL Listed. One year limited warranty.

The Tea Kettle has a stainless steel interior, so water does not come in contact with plastic. There is a plastic piece higher in the Water Kettle, but it does not come in contact with the water.

Chefs Choice Tea Kettle - This is an amazing hot pot. I like it because it's small, turns off automatically, heats fast, and is light weight. Ideal for children or elderly or for anyone forgetful or weak of hand. I'm buying one of these Tea Kettles for my sister after using mine for at least 5 years with no problems. This recommendation is coming from a long time restaurant and resort owner.
