A: There is no plastic inside the Model 675 Kettle. The lid is made up of a polypropylene a non hazardous material.

First saw this Hot Pot on Good Eats, so, naturally, had to have one. Don't remember what I did without it. From hot water for French Press coffee to heating stock for whatever, this kettle rocks! I have two and gave my daughter one because she liked mine so well.

Better than a Kettle! -
I use this pot every day- the wide opening makes it easy to fill and easy to clean! I will never go back to the traditional kettle shape. Love, love love it!
