The SS-700 is a new single serve coffee maker from Cuisinart! This single serve has been engineered with some special features by Cuisinart allowing it to best the competition. This unit is equipped with an extra large BPA free 80oz removable water reservoir which makes it easy to fill and you have to fill it less often. The water that the SS-700 uses to brew every fresh cup is pulled through a charcoal water filter removing any impurities that could alter your the flavor of your coffee. Another feature of this single serve is the rinse control, this cleans the brew chamber after every cup ensuring there is no flavor transfer between brews. One of the really stand out features for this unit is the included reusable K-cup coffee filter. This coffee filter allows you to use pre-ground coffee in place of the standard K-cups. With the reusable filter you are reducing waste and saving money! The reusable filter can be stored inside the SS-700 so there is no need to worry about misplacing it. With the option of using your favorite coffee or using one of the over two hundred varieties of single brew k-cups you can get the best cup of coffee every time. Q: Is this unit actually programmable? I read the product manual and it seems to indicate that you can program the water to be heated up, but you can't program it to brew coffee? I want a single serve coffee maker that will have my coffee brewed already for me at the time that I choose. I don't want to have to hit a button or wait.
A: The Cuisinart SS-700 is programmable to turn off/on when you like and for the brew temperature or size. However, because this unit is a single serve unit using K-cups it is not programmable to actually make a cup of coffee at a specific time. At this time we do not offer a single serve coffee maker that is programmable to your specifications.

Q: I purchased a SS-700 around February of this year. Having brewing problems. Now it only works when i tap the side of the machine, I no longer have the receipt. What can I do.

Q: I see that you can use any ground coffee in this Cuisinart one cup coffee maker. However, if I like the Keurig K-cup pre-filled coffees that are included, do you know how readily available these are in a grocery store?
A: The Keurig K-cups are available in most grocery stores. They are usually located with the other coffee products.

A: Choose from 4, 6, 8, or 10 ounce brew sizes. The fifth size is for iced beverages. To use the iced beverage setting, place a tall glass filed with ice on the drip tray. Use your favorite K-Cup, select the iced beverage brew size (4 ounces), and press the brew button. Once brewing is complete, add more ice. Add cream and sugar if desired.

Q: Is this single serve coffee maker stainless steel on the outside? Or is that just a colored finish?
A: The SS-700 Cuisinart Single Serve Coffee Maker is not stainless steel. The housing is a colored plastic and the water reservoir is BPA-free.

 Love it, love it, love it!!! -
I just received my Cuisinart SS-700 yesterday and I just love it! It had the most features out of any of the other single serve k-cup brewers. I love the hot water and rinse features and that it holds more water than the others and has a 3 yr warranty rather than just the 1 year that the others offer. I'm very happy with my purchase!
