Cuisinart's compact electronic digital food scale displays weights up to 11 pounds (or 5 kilograms) and is accurate to 1/4 ounce (1 gram). This digital food scale has four load-weigh sensors for excellent accuracy and precision. This scale converts between American and metric units (LB/KG) at the simple press of a button. This Cuisinart Food Scale has a dishwasher safe stainless steel platform cover. The Add'n Weigh feature lets you add ingredients one at a time to a single container, and the tare feature means that you can use any container when weighing your food items. This item can also be used as a postal scale.

Q: I bought the Cuisinart KLM-15 digital scale but lost the instructions. How do I use the tare function? The button labeled only seems to convert the unit from grams to ounces.
