2 - 1 1/2 quart gel pack containers. Made 2 batches of Butter Pecan Ice Cream. Filled gel pack, took 20 minutes to finish. Put it into a container in the freezer, done. Much better than using ice & ice cream salt, messy sink, noise, etc. This Ice Cream Maker was so easy to use. (Posted on 7/4/10)
