Cuisinart 5.5 Mixer -
I had checked many reviews before deciding on the Cuisinart mixer over the Kitchen Aid and I definitely made the right choice. I make a lot of cakes and I love the timer feature. I've made bread a couple times with the dough hook and the mixer did great a great job. I got the food processor and blender with the rebate coupons, they are a little noisy (but they were free!). My daughter likes my new mixer so well, we're getting her one for her birthday.

Great Mixer -
I chose the Cuisinart mixer because I planned to store it under the counter, and it is light enough to pick up. I can't lift my mother's KitchenAid mixer. I also really wanted a mixer that would last. That's hard to judge, but I do have a Cuisinart food processor that I received 20 years ago that still works great. Also, I use the Cuisinart mixer mostly for cakes and cookies. I've only made bread one time so far. I really wanted the plastic shield, but I never use it and I haven't made a mess yet. I received the blender and food processor, too. I really like the thick glass blender container. I haven't used the food processor yet; it is a smaller version of one that I already have and use a lot.

Cuisinart 5.5 Stand Mixer -
This Cuisinart 5 1/2 quart mixer is the one you want. Beats Kitchen Aid hands down. A mid-sized, heavy duty beauty!
By the way, Everything Kitchens provided a flawless transaction. A+

Nice Stand Mixer -
Love the Cuisinart mixer and everything go with it. Guide me how to use it clearly. Great service, product, and shipping process.

CUISINART 5.5 MIXER -
I checked out a lot of reviews before choosing the Cuisinart Mixer over the Kitchenaid Mixer. I've had the mixer for almost a year now and have been very happy with its performance. It works great for whipped cream, cake batter, cookie dough, as well as bread dough. My daughter liked it so much, I got her one for her birthday!

It really is worth 5 stars -
I bought this Cuisinart stand mixer on the recommendation of an "America's Test Kitchen" review! It so surpassed my expectations, my husband is probably tired of hearing me say every time I use it, how MUCH I love it. I had a KitchenAid stand mixer before and it got put back in the cupboard after just a few uses. Not the Cuisinart! I carefully weighed the capacity and decided not to go with the largest for the kind of baking I do now. Again for me I did not need the professional size. ;-) Make sure you think about that part and you won't be disappointed. My favorite part of having the Cuisinart Mixer, without hesitation, is the timer feature. Who would think how nice it would be if the recipe calls for three minutes of mixing on medium. I set it and can go on to another part of the recipe without losing track of the time, and it just shuts off. LOVE IT!!

I LOVE this Cuisinart 5 1/2 qt. mixer -
I had never owned a stand mixer but really wanted one as I bake biscotti, which have a very stiff dough, and my daughter is now doing a lot of baking as well. I chose the Cuisinart stand mixer because it had significantly more power than the KitchenAid.
It's terrific and never strains under the stiffest dough or batter, and I love the timer feature, as it's very convenient when you're multi-tasking. Also, now that I have one of these I do a lot more baking than I used to do. Mine came with a 'rebate' worth a free food processor and blender attachment, and I love those as well.

Cuisinart 5.5 Stand Mixer -
Only owned this stand mixer for a month now. Used it three times for pizza dough. So far so good. I'm not a big fan of the on/off/speed mechanism. The timer function is awesome.
|
Awesome Stand Mixer -
I have the KitchenAid Artisan but I renovated my kitchen with stainless steel so I decided to give this a try instead of another KitchenAid in stainless. This Cuisinart Mixer is far superior to the Kitchenaid. The shield stays in place when you raise or lower the mixer and keeps everything cleaner. The countdown timer is a great feature. In general I just like everything about the Cuisinart Mixer better.

Cuisinart Stand Mixer -
The Cuisinart stand mixer is awesome! I received mine for Christmas and have made noodles, ground meat, made bread and sweet bread, mashed potatoes, whisked eggs...the list goes on. For the noodles and meat, I did purchase attachments separately. I was amazed at how effortlessly the meat ground and the fresh taste was fantastic! When making the breads, well, the Cuisinart Mixer couldn't make it any easier unless it cooked it itself. This Cuisinart stand mixer comes with a whisk, paddle, and dough hook. The style is great. There is plenty of power to get whatever you need done without hesitancy. Highly Recommend!!!

So Far So Good! -
I bought this Cuisinart Mixer right before Christmas. I've used it 2-3 times since it arrived and it's pretty amazing. I'm a newbie to stand mixers but not to baking. In the past I've typically done my mixing by hand or with a hand mixer and now I know why people use stand mixers. So far the Cuisinart mixer has done the job with a cake, some cookies and I've used the blender attachment which is extremely easy to set up and use. I can't wait for the food processor attachment to arrive.

Wonderful Mixer -
I gave up the hand mixer after all these years and wish I had done it sooner after having bought this 5 1/2 quart Cuisinart stand mixer. It looks great on the countertop and so far out performs my expectations. There are so many things I can do with it. I'm thrilled!

As Advertised!! -
This mixer replaces an old Kitchen Aid that I have been babying along for several years. WOW, what a difference. I bake bread, typically 4-6 loaves per week in two loaf batches. This Cuisinart mixer mixes and kneads without complaining or over heating. Best of all, I can turn my back on this mixer without worrying that it will walk off the counter. I neglected my old Kitchen Aid once to often and it walked off the counter (didn't seem to hurt the mixer, but broke a tile on my kitchen floor). Looks good, works well, and is considerably lighter than the Kitchen Aid.

Cuisinart Stand Mixer 5.5 Quart -
Excellent. Everything about this 5 1/2 quart Cuisinart Mixer is great. No problems with anything, looks great on the counter and is a work horse. Very happy with this purchase, and the blender and food processor attachments are fantastic.

cuisinart stand mixer -
I bought this Cuisinart mixer 12 months ago and have had nothing but wonderful results. I love everything about it. It was the only heavy duty mixer I could find that fits under my cupboards which was my first big plus. I love this Cuisinart mixer.
|
Not better for bread -
I wanted to replace my KitchenAid stand mixer with this Cuisinart one but the main use I have is sourdough bread which has 2.5 lbs of dough. I should have bought the larger Cuisinart stand mixer model. This one will not do my bread. Good for small baking jobs. I like the blender attachment; the 1 cup food processor is not worth the space to store it.
|
It's OK -
When I purchased this Cuisinart stand mixer, I knew that I wouldn't be able to mix 5.5 quart of ingredients, since the capacity of the stand mixer is measured at the brim of the mixing bowl. However, I am surprised and disappointed to discover that the actual mixing capacity is less that I thought. This Cuisinart 5 1/2 quart mixer struggles to efficiently mix a mere 3 quarts of batter, something it should sail through. I blame this mainly on how low the mixing attachment is positioned and the diminutive size of the mixing attachments them self. Other than that, the machine is great.

Cuisinart Stand Mixer -
My first stand mixer and after reading many reviews I decided to go with the Cuisinart Mixer and I'm glad I did. Great mixer for sure. I made my first loaf of bead over the weekend. Great fun and the Cuisinart mixer made it easy. Buying it here also makes me glad as they are a great company to deal with.

Great Mixer -
I love this thing. This Cuisinart 5 1/2 quart mixer is a workhorse. Quiet too! Much quieter than my sister's Kitchenaid. I use this to make bread. It's perfect. Glad I chose the Cuisinart stand mixer. The built in timer is a neat addition.
|
Great Mixer -
This Cuisinart mixer is a GREAT mixer. It makes bread making easy. I like it better than KitchenAid because it's quieter, doesn't move around and kneads bread dough perfectly. Best money I ever spent.

Machine is excellent, does all the is asked of it. -
I am very pleased with this 5 1/2 qt Cuisinart Stand Mixer. Power is always sufficient, options are extensive. If needed, I would purchase it again.
|
This Cuisinart mixer is outstanding! -
The power of this Cuisinart 5 1/2 quart mixer is very adequate. It is easy to use and it works fantastically. I like the timer on it also. I can set the timer to mix for three minutes and go on to the next step. The timer beeps and I am ready to add more ingredients.

Best mixer ever! -
I bought this for my daughter who has been doing a lot of baking. She absolutely loves it! It is so much better than the Kitchenaid and so much more powerful. Several of my family members have purchased it because of me. I would highly recommend it. This Cuisinart Mixer is beautiful to look at and is out on display for the world to see!

Satisfied - Just What I Wanted -
I've been using the Cuisinart mixer along with the meat grinder for grinding chicken and beef.
I find the Cuisinart blender attachment very easy to use. The blender is very handy for making dressing and also I use it often for blending soup.
The 5 1/2 Qt Cuisinart mixer I use for making lots of dog cookies. Its a stiff dough and the mixer handles the mixing with ease.
This is a very sturdy mixer and the best I've ever owned.
Its a beautiful mixer and looks great on the stand that I placed it on.
I owned what was suppose to be a heavy duty mixer. Well, this is so much better.
I took my other mixer to the thrift store.
This is a wonderful investment. Everything about this Cuisinart mixer and attachments is easy, easy, easy.

SUPER MIXER -
I absolutely love this mixer. It does all I could ever ask of a mixer (that is unless you could come up with one that breaks the eggs for you). I have a friend that is a professional cook. She used it the other day and said she is ready to throw her Kitchen Aid out after using the Cuisinart mixer.
|
Better than my Kitchenaid -
I have had two KitchenAid mixers and bought the Cuisinart stand mixer because it has more power than the larger KitchenAid. The head lifts and the Cuisinart mixer does not walk off the counter like the KitchenAid. The Cuisinart has more features too. The beaters feel more like professional. I use to love my KitchenAid but this mixer just beats it up. Maybe it is time for KitchenAid to upgrade with the times. If you have a choice then pick the Cuisinart.

What a difference a stand mixer makes! -
I make & sell cheesecakes and needed something that would let me multi-task. This Cuisinart mixer was it! I can now make 2 cheesecakes a day and still have time to get dinner on the table. Only complaint is the 'Fold" feature - it really doesn't 'fold', it just mixes slowly. Used the rebate for the free food processor & blender attachments and love them, too.
The dough hook attachment was damaged in shipping and Everything Kitchens couldn't have been nicer or faster in replacing it! The key to having a stand mixer is making sure you create a place to keep it handy for use. Definitely worth doing!

Cuisinart Mixer -5 1/2 Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer -
I received my mixer just as described. It is great! I love the splash guard and the large bowl. The Cuisinart mixer is easy to use and clean.

Cuisinart Stand Mixer 5.5 Quart Cuisinart Mixer -
Awesome mixer. Much better than KitchenAid. There are lots of problems recorded with the gears on those. This Cuisinart mixer works great with lots of power.
Bought it at Everything Kitchens and got the best price available. Also got extras - blender / food chopper. Great service and quick.
