Cuisinart's Pasta Maker Attachment comes equipped with a variety of plates allowing you to create multiple types of pasta! This pasta maker attachments has six different plate options which can press lasagna, macaroni (large and small), rigatoni, fettucine and of course spaghetti! Simply attach the pasta maker to the front of your mixer, load the fresh pasta dough and cut the pasta to your desired length. Since this pasta maker is dishwasher safe fresh pasta is even easier! This Cuisinart attachment fits all mixers that begin with SM-70 and SM-55. This is sold as the attachment only and a Cuisinart mixer must be purchased separately.

Q: Are the plates plastic or metal? Will this crack?

A: The plates are not metal. The only thing pushing against the plate is pasta dough. And the plates have been well tested by Cuisinart.

Pasta - Make sure your dough is NOT sticky - or you'll be pulling spaghetti apart one by one! After I figured out to keep the dough a bit "dry" the pasta worked out awesome. LOVE IT!

Perfect Pasta - I've made two batches of perfect pasta already. The recipes are drop dead easy and cleanup is a breeze.

Pasta - after 40 years of making pasta with a conventional machine and by hand I finally got one. What a disappointment! It is a mess. It does not work at all. No way.It is a useless gadget.
