This cordless electric kettle has 6 preset temperatures for perfect tea or use in your French Press. The six presets for this stainless electric kettle allow the user to make delicate teas (160°), Green Tea (175°), White Tea (185°), Oolong Tea (190°), French Press Coffee (200°), and Black & herbal teas at a full boil. If you make a single cup of tea at a time, then another and another the Keep warm function will change the way you prepare your tea! The keep warm function can hold the selected temperature for up to 30 minutes. Other features for the electric cordless kettle include a blue backlit water level indicator, reusable scale filter, auto shutoff, and boil dry protection. Water kettles aren't just for tea any longer! Quick boil kettles are very versatile allowing you to quickly cook instant rice, noodles, soups, or oatmeal with ease. Q: Is the interior stainless too or is it plastic?

A: I called the manufacturer, and they said that the interior of this kettle is stainless steel as well.

Q: Is this a new product? Not refurbished? I have one and want to buy one for my daughter. Am doing Christmas shopping now. Thanks for your help.

Cuisinart Electric Cordless Kettle--PerfecTemp - I LOVE this PerfecTemp Kettle from Cuisinart! The only thing I would change about it is to make the "ready" signal louder. Sometimes it is hard to hear if there are other noises in the house. I still love it, and am ordering one for my daughter. Have already given my son one. He loves his too!
