I don't expect they'll post my review since I was so disappointed by such a poor design bearing the Cuisinart name. OF course you can close the spigot to save spillage, but that won't stop the shimmy that the juicer undergoes unless you don't press the fruit firmly. I love my other Cuisinart products, but this machine is too light weight, as well as other minnor problems that warrant my disapproval. I must say, you can obtain the maximum of nectar, however the awkwardness of finding an adequate method of extraction makes this one of the poorer Cuisinart products. It just needs some redesign work.

Very junky for Cuisinart product. Gears not meshing, so it is very noisy. Returning to Ace Hardware after one use.

loud, base moves too easily, gears sound as though they were stripped within 6 months of use. Would not buy again.

Disappointed! - |

This juicer looks really nice, but too bad its design is terrible. The ream was not designed well. It fills up with pulp immediatley and the juice gets trapped and does not flow to the spout. Then the base will not stay in place. It moves back and forth, back and forth, so while juicing you have to press the orange down, hold the base, and then guide the cup. This product was returned after one use. Save yourself the headache and dont buy it. I
