Save your money - We have repeatedly followed the directions for this 4 Cup Cuisinart Rice Cooker to the letter and yet, every time we cook it boils over terribly making a huge mess unless you put a towel under it. If you don't put a towel under the rice cooker you will soak your counter tops and cleaning up the outside of the ricer is not any fun either. Not to mention the possible electrocution hazard from liquid pouring down the side of the switch. It seems the Cuisinart Rice Cooker's vent hole does nothing to prevent fluids from condensing on the top, pooling, and then overflowing down the side.
