The DLC-10S is the Pro Classic 7 cup food processor from Cuisinart. This unit takes a classic design and matches it to the high quality you expect from Cuisinart. The 7 cup work bowl is constructed of Lexan which offers light weight, rigidity, and strength. This classic food processor has a wide range of blades available for separate purchase. These additional food processor discs can perform almost any slicing or shredding task, from cutting french fries to grating hard cheeses.
This 7 cup unit from Cuisinart has a powerful motor which allows it to perform tough tasks such without worry. When coupled with the included dough blade the large motor allows you to power through tough dough, just as Cuisinart intended. This unit can use 2 different bowl covers, the compact flat cover as well as the extra large feed tube. By equipping both of these Cuisinart allows the 7 cup food processor to slice, chop, or shred whole fruits and vegetables as well as mixing a batch of salsa. The feed tube on this food processor has both a large pusher and small pusher to accommodate multiple fruits or vegetables. Two different blades come with the unit a 4mm slicing disk and a medium coarseness shredding disk.

Good product - Great product. I have used the Cuisinart Pro Classic primarily to cut/shred stuff for salads. The only thing I don't like is trying to put all the pieces together. When making a salad you slice multiple things and when I rinse the parts between each item I slice, it takes time. It doesn't make sense to use it if you are just doing small amount of slices because it's easier and faster to just use a knife and a cutting board. I mainly use this for larger quantities of food.
