Q: Last year at this time I purchased the DLC 11 cup at $179. To my dismay I discovered that fast pulsing killed the motor. What is the difference between this and the $159. model in motor strength? Can I use the DLC bowl on the $159. model? I do not use it for dough, just vegetables, ginger root, drained kefir which can sometimes be as thick as cream cheese.

A: The motor strength is the same in both models. However, the work bowls are not interchangeable between models. The bowls are model specific.

Q: What is the wattage of this model's motor?

A: This is 625 watts.

Q: Is this product BPA free?
