Only a Kitchen Aid -
This is the 7th KA that I have purchased. Two for myself, and 5 as wedding gifts for the nieces. I often make multiple batches when I am baking so I purchased a second full size bowl. While one batch is mixing, I am getting the second batch ready to mix. I also purchased the smaller bowl with the whisk. Perfect for egg whites, whipped cream etc. Just a comment on having a Kitchen Aid repaired. Once you reach the right people, they are very helpful. However, you must purchase a box and the shipping to send it to them and then pay at least a minimum service charge. It probably isn't worth having it repaired unless that particular mixer is special. I have made thousands (yes!) of cookies in my Kitchen Aid and wouldn't buy anything else. Prices, no tax, no shipping charges is what makes me check Everything Kitchens first.

A pleasure to use -
The Professional 600 Mixer is a pleasure to use for bread, cake and toppings. Let's make ice cream for summer.

Excellent -
I love my new dark pewter 6 quart mixer. I use it for everything. It is great for making whipped topping.

Love my mixer! -
Always dreamed of having one of these! And during a baking class I heard about a special at Everything Kitchens. I immediately went online and purchased one of the dark pewter Kitchenaid Professional 600 stand mixers! I got the higher end one for the smaller end price!! The Family all got homemade breads & rolls for the Thanksgiving & Christmas holidays!!! Just one note: don't put the attachments in the dishwasher!!

Beautiful -
Beautiful piece of machinery. I use this dark pewter Kitchenaid Professional 600 so often, and have bought some attachments that work on every Kitchenaid stand mixer that we have in the family. My only complaint is that the 6 qt machine beater/whip/hook have a hard time reaching the bottom of the bowl unlike the smaller sized Kitchenaid Mixers. Would never want the smaller size though, as the powerful motor and volume on the 6 qt more than makes up for the extra spatula scraping required. Can easily make three batches of anything in the bowl, and the powerful motor makes frosting fluffy and fast.
Editors note: In response to your concern regarding the beater not scraping the bowl, check out the Pourfect beaters that they make for this Kitchenaid Professional 600 model on our site. They have a flex edge that will scrape the bowl for you. They are not made by Kitchenaid though, so only use on a mixer outside of warranty already. Kitchenaid is coming out with their own version of the flex edge beater for this mixer later this summer (2011).

Good value -
We don't regret our purchase of a dark pewter Kitchenaid Pro 600 and use it regularly. Mix dough without problems and it blends ingredients for cheesecake without hesitation.
|
Buyer Beware -
The warranty is only for one year and KitchenAid will not replace your motor if it breaks after this time period.

Fantastic mixer -
Love my new KitchenAid. Love the pewter color. Good power in the 575 watts. Highly recommend. I use this all the time.

Would buy Kitchen Aid Pro 600 again -
Great capacity and power. As noted in other reviews, the whisk/hook/beater attachments don't reach the bottom of the bowl, which is my only complaint. With the Kitchenaid Pro 600, power settings are easily managed, and the ease up to speed keeps things from splashing all over. I can make quadruple batches of royal icing, cookie dough, frosting, cakes etc with ease. Very happy with this dark pewter mixer purchase.

Always wanted one! -
I am so happy with my dark pewter mixer. I have always wanted one and got it for my recent birthday. What a thrill! It's a wonderful machine and it's fun to use.

Great Purchase -
I absolutely love this Kitchenaid stand mixer. It looks great on my counter but most important: it works great. I use it for everything & anything (even meat loaf)!

Kitchenaid 6 qt mixer -
Very happy with this mixer. The only thing is when making pasta the pasta clips shoot off very dangerously. I never received the $40 rebate, or food and wine magazine.

So good! -
We had the smaller Kitchen Aid for more than 10 years. We've moved up to the Pro 600 model and love the extra power.
