- Why is the smaller Dualit lite higher in watts compared to the more expensive one? 1500 vs 1250 watts.
- Actually this toaster, Dualit Lite, is 1200 watts. The larger Dualit Chunky is 1500 watts.

I found that the overall quality was good. However, we were disappointed with the way it toasted. The toast was very uneven; light on top and very dark on bottom. After looking inside while the toaster was on we noticed that the toasting elements were spaced very uneven. Most of the elements were at the bottom of the toaster and then were spaced very far apart at the top. This is probably why the toast would come out very dark at the bottom and than be very light at the top of the bread slice. I think a toaster for this price should do a much better job of toasting and for this reason I only it a three star. (Posted on 2/2/13)
