Made from a special, Burgundy Clay, from Burgundy France, these stew pots from Emile Henry offers durable, even bakeware that is perfect for simmering, stewing, and brazing. The ceramics used in the Emile Henry Flame Top Round Stew pot are 30% lighter than Cast Iron, but are still durable, chip and scratch resistant, dishwasher safe, and can go straight from oven to refrigerator.

The products produced by Emile Henry are manufactured with their state of the art Ceradon® manufacturing process. Unlike other ceramic kitchenware and tableware, Emile Henry has extremely high resistance to shocks, temperature changes, and fading colors from washing. Emile Henry Ceramic Kitchenware can go directly from the refrigerator to a pre heated oven (up to 500°F). This allows you to re-heat your leftovers, or even just keep your food warm before serving.
