- No. The teapot, or any of the Frieling stainless steel items other than cookware, is not made to be put on an external heat source.

- Does this teapot infuser have a built-in filter?
- The infuser acts as the filter. Loose tea is placed in the infuser and this is what keeps the tea leaves from getting into the beverage. There is no additional filter mechanism included.
