This Gaggia Espresso Machine is a Stainless Steel Espresso Machine (stainless housing). Combining advanced technology with a classic design, this Gaggia coffee/espresso machine for making hot drinks at home includes all the benefits of a commercial espresso machine. Designed in Italy by Gaggia, one of the most respected names in the espresso industry, the Gaggia Classic Espresso Machine uses standard 58 mm filters to provide ample room for brewing rich, full espresso. This Espresso Machine's commercial-grade construction includes stainless-steel housing, a high-power 17-1/2-bar pump with a high-voltage boiler for quick warm-up times and an independent expansion valve. A three-way solenoid valve is also included, providing immediate pressure release from the grouphead once an espresso pull is completed, allowing the portafilter to be removed and the next shot to be prepared instantly. For excellent temperature stability, the Gaggia Classic's portafilters and grouphead are made of heavy-duty marine-grade brass with chrome plating. The Gaggia Classic Espresso Machine works with coffee pods and is designed to deliver two cups of coffee or espresso at once. Other convenient features include a hot-water dispenser for tea, a frothing wand for crema, and a cup warmer. A single- and double-shot stainless-steel filter basket, coffee tamper, and 7-gram measuring scoop are included. Its 72-ounce water reservoir is removable for easy filling or cleaning. To keep the espresso machine clean, simply wipe it down with a damp cloth.

Great Espresso Machine - We've had our Gaggia Classic espresso machine for about a month now and don't know how we ever lived without it! Whether we use ground espresso or pods, the results are great. The hardest part is deciding what beans we like best - but we've been having fun working our way through a POD sampler. This espresso machine is easy to use and I love that you can "hot swap" it and make multiple cups in a row without letting it cool down like I had to with my last machine. I'm very happy with our purchase. My husband is considering buying a second for his office because he's become so addicted to the great espresso the Gaggia espresso machine makes. It's much better than Starbucks or Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf!

Love This Espresso Machine - I bought this espresso maker hoping it would replace my very expensive daily Starbucks bill. All I can say is that with this coffee maker I can make a better latte than Starbucks! Once you get your preferred measurements your lattes and espresso shots will turn out delicious.

Model 14101 - I don't know how I lived so long without one of these Gaggia Classics! This is the best machine for espresso I've owned, and I've owned a few in 45 years.

Completely pleased with the Gaggia Classic - We use this machine every morning to make espresso and latte, usually 3 double shots. We're totally happy with the results. As good or better than any coffee we've gotten at any espresso house. We were Starbucks regulars, but haven't seen the inside of any espresso shop since we bought this Gaggia machine (except when traveling). We have yet to de-calcify, so I can't comment on how easy or difficult that is, but we are told it is absolutely necessary to do this kind of maintenance, to keep any espresso machine running well. And Everything Kitchens was the ONLY place where we found a discounted price. Thanks, EK!

Excellent Espresso Machine - After going through 7 Saeco Gran Cremas, I bought the Gaggia Classic. Steaming is great. Shots are good.
