This Globe stand mixer’s rigid cast aluminum body ensures years of mixer durability. This 8 quart stand mixer would work well in any setting from a small bakery to a pizzeria. This Globe mixer comes with everything needed to start mixing including a Globe Stand Mixer stainless steel 8 quart mixer bowl, a flat beater, wire whip, and spiral dough hook.

Q: Does this come with a whip for whipping egg whites? Is it a good mixer for making meringue?
A: Yes, this Globe SP8 Mixer a great unit for making meringue. You can use up to 1 pint of egg whites to whip in the mixer per batch, which will become a lot more, obviously, after it's whipped. The mixer does come with a whip that will work for egg whites as well.

 For serious bakers -
I have the 8 qt. globe mixer. I bake a lot of heavy grain breads and this mixer is FABULOUS! My KA mixer would groan and walk on the counter and sound like it was dying so my husband bought me the globe. This mixer will outlast me and be one to hand down to the next generation and will maybe even the next. All the other mixers out there have a faulty design with the reastat to adjust the speed. This destroys the electric motor over time. The globe mixer has a transmission for the low med and high speeds. That with the automatic timer is heaven sent. This mixer blows everything out there off the map. I love it!
