Hamilton Beach HBS1400 Overview
The NEW Hamilton Beach Revolution Ice Shaver is your all-in-one blending solution! This new redesign is replacing Hamilton Beach Commercial's old HBS1200 Ice Shaver Blender, and it now has a new brighter control panel and display. The Revolution portion system that the Revolution Ice shaver (model HBS1400) is a very unique system that counts the number of times the shaving head turns ensuring accurate portion every time. With other portion control systems the blade turns for a set time, but things are constantly changing the load on the blenders motor. Since the loads are changing during the blending cycles the blenders that use a timer system do not always shave and blend the same amount of ice. Since the Hamilton Beach commercial Revolution blender counts the number of revolutions the blade makes it has superior portion control.
The HBS1400 has a stackable 64oz blending container which allows the user to create up to 4 16oz drinks at one time. These 64oz blending containers are shared with the Tempest and Summit series of Hamilton Beach Commercial blenders, so if your shop has multiple Hamilton Beach blenders they can share blending jars.
The NEW Revolution Ice Shaver by Hamilton beach uses a powerful 3 horsepower motor when creating drinks for your customers making the blend ultra smooth every time. The Shaver on the unit incorporates a 1/4 horsepower motor that can shave and dispense enough ice to fill the 64oz blending jar in a snap. The Shaver is directly below the 2-piece double-wall insulated ice hopper that keeps ice cold and also has a drain if any of the ice starts to melt, preventing watery drinks. The ice hopper drain on the HBS1400 also has a sensor that informs the user if there is a problem with the drain preventing the possibility of a water backup.
