Hamilton Beach Cooker Digital Simplicity Deluxe Rice Cooker/Steamer

    Money well spent - I over research products before I buy them for I want longevity, good value, and performance. For under 50 bucks, this rice cooker makes moist rice [(white or brown) just select the correct button], crisp veggies and great oatmeal (one can even add their favorite fruit to cook into the oatmeal. Since I recently purchased HG cooker, I cannot speak for longevity but when I did a side by side comparison of an expensive top rated product in the store, the HG seemed more durable for it weighed more and appeared to be better built. Oh yes, it is easy to clean. Only down fall is it is pretty big and I have a small kitchen but it worth the room.

    Great Value and Performance - This rice cooker is great. I had heard about the benefits of a rice cooker and wanted to start cooking whole grains more often but did not want to spend hundreds of dollars. This rice cooker works perfectly and the delay feature is very handy. I've prepared many brown and white rice dishes, adding beans and other vegetables to the rice and in the steaming tray and all have come out fantastic. Oatmeal comes out perfectly and right on time in the morning. The steaming tray is great for hard boiled eggs as well! In short, this product works great, cleans easily, and is priced right. Definitely a worthwhile addition to any kitchen.
