Kitchenaid Artisan Stand Mixer, Silver Metallic 5 Quart

    I Use the Kitchenaid Artisan Almost Daily - After literally years of thinking about it, I finally bought a Kitchenaid stand mixer. I got the silver metallic 5-qt bowl Artisan model. The only thing I'd do differently, if I had to do it again, is I would have gone ahead and spent the money to get one of the Kitchen Aid professional models. However, the Artisan model is certainly great for what I need. I've been taking lots of cooking classes lately, and I use the mixer almost daily. It's great for breads, cookie doughs, cakes, etc. Love it, and now I wonder why I waited so long.

    Makes Baking SO Easy! - This Artisan 5 quart mixer does all the heavy lifting when it comes to stirring batter and dough. The silver color has a retro look and fits perfectly into my kitchen. The only [small] con I can come up with is you need to tilt the head up to add ingredients, and can't add them while the head is down and the stand mixer is running. Otherwise, it's a great product at a great price.

    Outstanding Value - I have used a Kitchenaid stand mixer for years and recently bought the Artisan series model when a chef friend suggested it. The silver metallic color is perfect. It does a better job at creaming butter and whipping meringue. I have made tons of bread and pizza dough because it so easy to assemble and clean up. I wish I had not waited so long to purchase it.

    Great Stand Mixer For a Great Price - I already knew the Kitchenaid Artisan Mixer was a good buy; I've seen them in use before my purchase and all the reviews about how easy they are to use and how much better your mix comes out. What makes me write this review is how GREAT Everything Kitchens was in getting me that mixer. $50 less than the cheapest one I could find, PLUS a rebate, PLUS it was delivered within DAYS of my purchase (3-4). Very well worth it.
