Customer Questions About This Item:
Q: Will the Kitchenaid Pro 600 attachments fit this mixer?
A: Yes! KitchenAid mixer attachments are universal and fit all models of KitchenAid mixers except for the Kitchenaid Commercial mixer. This applies to the actual attachments only. The pouring shields, flat bleater/dough hook/wire whip, and bowls are model specific.

Q: I just read your reviews about the Pro Line vs the Professional 600 series Kitchen Aid. I too am researching the differences in both and you claim they are the same except for the wisp. However, according the the KA web, the Pro Line is (2) lbs heavier than the 600 series, (32) vs (30) lbs. The difference is in the heavier 610 motor with about 25 watts more power. It is the same price so why not get the better whip and the heavier motor.
A: Per Kitchen Aid the KL26M8XOB Pro Line Mixer has 575 watts of power as does the Pro 600 Mixer Model KP26M1X. These two models have the exact same wattage, motor, features, etc....excluding the wire whip that is different between the two models. The weights listed on the Kitchen Aid website are simply estimates. Per our shipping department both of these models weigh the same.

Q: How do I find info on the brown box products talked about by others on this site? Also does the proline 600 come in this brown box pkg?
A: We are sold out of the brown box special that other's mentioned. I am sorry!
|
Q: I would also like to know more about your ordering procedure and the fact that the $399.00 price is also marked thru. What does this signify?
A: This KitchenAid Proline mixer is not allowed to be advertised under 399.00 per the manufacturer. We have the price marked through, telling you to add to cart for price so that you can get a better deal once you add the mixer to your cart.

unhappy -
This 6 Quart KitchenAid Pro Line Mixer is NOT everything one expects from a Kitchenaid. The black only color choice is a deal breaker for me, but my husband bought it. Worse yet, the aluminum flat beater and dough hook look cheap and pitted and had white raised spots after being lightly hand washed to ready them for use. Gray-black residue is left on a soft white cloth when gently rubbed. EUCK!! This is probably going to be returned.

Not As Good As They Used To Be -
I had my Kitchen Aid Pro Line Mixer only three years before the shaft bent! I bake large batches of bread and I had hoped this 6 Quart mixer would be able to handle the larger capacity as advertised, but the motor gets hot, and it slows down long before I use the 14 cups of white flour. I was making bread when the dough hook suddenly hit the side of the bowl and stopped. It will no longer rotate without hitting the side of the bowl regardless of which attachment is used. 400.00 is a lot of money for 3 years of use! My first Kitchen Aid Mixer lasted 15 years and it was an "Artisan" style.

Love This Stand Mixer -
The old one went to the mother-in law. I'm raising 3 grand kids.
|
Hate it -
I bake a lot of bread and have had to have this KitchenAid Proline Mixer repaired 4 times!

Absolutely love it! -
I just got this in Nov. and love it. The Kitchen Aid Pro Line 6 Quart Mixer has all the power you will ever need. I also got the meat grinder, grater, slicer, and strainer attachment and it is a must have with this stand mixer. I also recommend you getting the pasta roller & cutter - another must have. This Kitchenaid mixer is the best kitchen appliance I have. I use it daily. I even find myself making different stuff just to be able to use it

Love it! -
This mixer is well-made, easy to use, easy to clean, and looks as impressive as it works. Making big batches of holiday cookies has never been easier. I've also used it fairly frequently to make ice cream with the ice cream attachment (which I also recommend) and am looking forward to purchasing the pasta accessories.

Kitchen Aid Proline 6 Quart -
This is my third Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer. The first lasted 22 years. I had it repaired and passed it on to my daughter who used it another 10 years. The second I had for 17 years and again passed it onto my daughter who is using it now. I bought the 6 quart mixer because I am doing a lot more larger batches and wanted a new mixer. I absolutely love the wire whisk. It whips so much better than the lighter whisk. I have had great performance from my Kitchen Aid products and would recommend purchasing this model. Love it!

Happy With One Exception -
Love the attachments and how they work, especially the meat grinder.
The only complaint I have with this Pro Line mixer is that you can't scrape the sides of the bowl while it's blending.

Very Impressive! -
Love this Kitchenaid Pro-line Mixer. I've had a Kitchenaid KSM5 heavy duty mixer for about 17 years, and have loved it. Recently I purchased the Kitchenaid proline waffle baker from Everything Kitchens, so decided to get the matching mixer. The power in the new mixer is fabulous, the bowl is much wider which is great for adding ingredients, also the handle is far better on the Kitchenaid Proline Mixer, a wider space to fit your fingers when gripping the bowl. The wire whip attachment is terrific. It whips up heavy cream so much quicker, so the end result is a lighter whipped cream, with more volume. I cannot get over how much more powerful it is than my Kitchenaid heavy duty mixer. I was never disappointed with the KSM5, but after using the Kitchenaid Proline Mixer, it would be very hard for me to go back to the KSM5. I would recommend this Kitchenaid proline mixer. The wire whip is worth the extra few dollars that this mixer costs, compared to the regular Kitchen Aid Pro 600 series. I am totally happy with my new mixer. And look forward to many more years of baking, grinding, and shredding. And of course making pasta with my new pasta attachments which I received as a bonus. Everything Kitchens customer service have been great to deal with. Sharon is fabulous!!! Look forward to my next purchase from Everything Kitchens.

The same as the Kitchen Aid Pro 600 Mixers -
This mixer is exactly the same as the Pro 600 Kitchen Aid 6 Quart Mixer, except for some cosmetic differences and the whip is different. If you want to see more reviews, check out the reviews for that item on this site. Search for part # KP26M1X above.
