Customer Questions About This Item:

Q: Is there a recipe book with the Kitchen Aid Professional 600 mixer?
A: Yes, the Pro 600 Kitchen Aid mixer comes with a spiral bound cookbook and owners manual.

Q: What does NSF certified mean?
A: NSF International (formerly known as the National Sanitation Foundation) is an independent, non-profit organization that certifies food service equipment and ensures it is designed and constructed in a way that promotes food safety. Read more: http://blog.etundra.com/food-safety/food-safety-tips5/#ixzz1fgdXSwqt Please note: The Pro 600 Mixer is not NSF certified for commercial use.

Q: I am interested in purchasing the 6-quart Pro mixer. I have read that the original models had plastic in the gear casing. Can you guarantee that the models you are selling have the updated all metal casing? For such a heavy-duty motor, I expect this will be essential. Thank you.
A: Yes Kitchen Aid stopped using the plastic parts several years ago. All of our mixers have the all metal casing.

Q: Does KitchenAid make a 4.5 or 5 quart bowl that's compatible with the 6 quart mixer? I find that the 6 quart bowl is sometimes too large and the 3 quart bowl is sometimes too small.
A: Unfortunately Kitchen Aid does not currently offer any other bowl sizes besides the 6 quart and the 3 quart for the 6 quart mixer.

Q: I love to cook and want to purchase a Kitchen Aid mixer. We have a large family and we entertain often. Would the Kitchenaid 600 mixer be too big? Should I be looking at the 5 qt.size? What is the difference in the sizes of the two mixers?
A: Because you have a large family and entertain often, I would definitely recommend the Kitchen Aid Pro 600 Mixer. It has the 575 watt motor and the large 6 quart bowl which will be appropriate for your needs.

Q: Does the Professional 600 Mixer come with the attachments?
A: The KitchenAid 6 Quart Pro 600 mixer comes with the dough hook, wire whip, flat beater, 6 qt SS bowl, and the pouring shield.

Q: How many speeds does the Kitchen Aid Pro 600 Series Mixer have?
A: The Kitchen Aid Pro 600 Stand Mixer has 10 speeds to offer full control of your mixing.

Q: I am looking for the whisk for a 6 qt mixer please let me know if you have one thanks Shirley
A: We do not have the whisk that is made by KitchenAid for the Pro 600 but we do have the Pourfect Whisk A Bowl whisk that fits this mixer. It can be viewed at: http://www.everythingkitchens.com/pourfect-whisk-a-bowl-6-quart-5066.html

Q: A question above asks: What is the difference between the Pro 600 and the Caviar models. Answer: the Caviar is a Pro 600 Mixer. When I do a search for Caviar, I get a 5 quart mixer. Isn't the Pro 600 a 6 Quart? What's the link for the 6 quart caviar stand mixers?
A: The Kitchen Aid Caviar PRO 600 stand mixer was a limited time only offer, and we no longer have them available.

Q: What is the difference between the Pro 600 and the Caviar models? There's a significant price difference so I'd like to know before I buy. Thanks
A: The Caviar is a Pro 600 Mixer. The only reason for the price difference is that the Caviar is a special color and is being offered at special pricing.

Q: can this mixer usable in other country that has 220 volt source of electricity?
A: We only offer the Kitchen Aid Mixers wired for use in the United States. We do not offer them in 220 volt. You may wish to contact Kitchen Aid directly at 800-541-6390 to inquire about the availability of 220 volt mixers.

Q: I am a chef/caterer and have a 26 year old K5ss mixer. I would like to upgrade to the 6qt. mixer but have read many reviews saying it stops in the middle of mixing, overheats. Is this true? I have replaced a few parts in my current mixer, but it has been my workhorse for all these years and it never has a moment's problem. I bake a lot of yeast breads, up to 24 at a time two or three times a week.. Thank you.
A: The Kitchen Aid Pro 600 does have a powerful 575 watt motor. We have experienced a lot of customer satisfaction with this mixer. However, due to the amount of yeast bread you are making I would suggest that you take a look at the Bosch Universal Mixer.

Q: Does the bowl lift feature on the Pro 600 have a tendency to wear out quicker than the tilt? Will it tilt also?
A: Kitchen Aid might be able to answer this with more accuracy considering any warranty repairs and replacements go through them but in my experience one style is not more durable than the other. It is more of a personal preference I've found. The KitchenAid bowl-lift mixers are generally larger and have stronger motors while the tilt head mixers are generally smaller and easier to move around and are usually less expensive. The KitchenAid bowl-lift mixers have a more rigid design making them better for bread and stiffer doughs. No, I'm sorry the Pro 600 mixer will not tilt, it is a bowl lift design only.

Q: Is there a glass mixing bowl for the 6 QT. Model KP26M1XPM?
A: Kitchen Aid does not offer a 6 quart mixing bowl at this time.

Q: hi. please answer the question - in which the package is delivered Kitchenaid Professional 600 6 Quart Stand Mixer . in originally or another. I want to buy it as a gift and do not want to doubt the authenticity of my gift
A: Everything Kitchens only sells brand new items in original factory packaging with full factory warranty.

Q: This product will be discontinue item? Does it mean it's not a good product anymore? What if something wrong with the mixer in the future? Will kitchen aid still have parts available even if the product is discontinued? Thanks
A: The Kitchen Aid Pro 600 Stand Mixer is not discontinued. If an item were to be discontinued you may still obtain parts through Kitchen Aid directly at 800-541-6390.

Q: I'm looking for a tilt top standing mixer that is light weight. 27 lbs is too heavy for my petite daughter.
A: The Breville Mixer - 5 Quart Die-Cast Stand Mixer Model BEM800XL is a tilt head mixer and the weight is approximately 17.5 pounds. You can view this mixer on our site by entering the model number in the "Search" box. You may also wish to look at the Cuisinart Hand/Stand Mixer (Power Advantage) 3.5 Quart Model HSM-70. This mixer is made for smaller, light-weight jobs and only weighs approximately 6 pounds.

Q: I would like to purchase your Kitchenaid 600 mixer as a Christmas present. If this is not what the recipient wanted can it be returned after Christmas?
A: Our usual return policy excepts returns within 30 days of the purchase date (or ship date on a back ordered item) but we extend this to 60 days on Holiday gifts as long as we are notified that it is a gift at the time the order is placed.

Q: I see this is a 5.75 power do you have a 600
A: The Kitchen Aid Pro 600 Stand Mixer has a 575 watt motor. At this time we do not carry a Kitchen Aid Mixer that offers a 600 watt motor. However, you may wish to explore the other stand mixers offered on our site that have higher wattages such as the Bosch or Cuisinart.

Q: Please advise size and weight of shipping carton of Kitchen Aid Mixer - 6 Quart Pro. I am planning to have this ship to the Philippines. Do you also have a mixer larger than 6 quart? I need at least 10 Quarts. Thanks.
A: The Kitchen Aid Pro 600 Stand Mixer weighs approximately 30 pounds. The dimensions of the shipping box are 24x18x14. The Pro 600 6 quart mixer is the largest that Kitchen Aid offers at this time. However, you may wish to look at the Globe Commercial Mixer Model SP10. This model is made by Globe and is a 10 quart mixer.

Q: What is the difference between the 6-quart Pro mixer and the commercial mixer. I know that the commercial mixer has a 325 watt motor but what are the other differences
A: The Kitchen Aid 5 Quart Commercial Stand Mixer Model KM25G0XWH has a 450 watt motor. The KM25G0XWH is NSF Certified. It also includes the NSF® certified burnished Powerknead Dough Hook. The Pro 600 Kitchen Aid Mixer Model KP26M1X has a 575 watt motor. However, this model is not NSF Certified. The Pro 600 is also a 6 quart mixer and the Commercial Unit is only a 5 quart.

Kitchenaid Professional 600 Mixer - 6 Quart - Reviews:
Reviews for this item: 34     Average Customer Review is 4.7:

Kitchen Aid 6 Quart Mixer - I have had my 6 Quart Kitchen Aid Mixer for 30 years and I have put it threw many wedding cakes, bread and cookie dough and it has never failed me. Many of my friends are now Kitchen Aid Mixer owners. Nothing lasts forever and now I am looking to purchase a new one for a business I am trying to start but 30 years is not bad!

Kitchen Aid Pro 600 Mixer is the BEST!! - I have been saving for this Kitchenaid Pro 600 mixer for years and it is worth every penny!! I use it at least once a week, an avid baker, and it makes my bread baking so much easier. I did it all by hand before. It makes everything fantastic, cakes icings breads. You will not be sorry if you purchase this mixer!

KitchenAid Pro 600 - I love my new KitchenAid Pro 600 mixer I ordered from Everything Kitchens. The shipping was fast and the Email communication concerning the shipping was much appreciated. I have owned a smaller KitchenAid stand mixer for many years and decided it was time to purchase a larger mixer. I could not be happier with the product or the company....S. McLean North Carolina

Got you beat - Ours is 34 years old - We bought Kitchenaid Mixer when we started a catering business in 1976. It is the 5 qt. professional model and it has never been in the shop, never let us down after TONS of product run through this amazing machine, and it's still going strong! The only thing that gave out was the dough hook. The paint coating split and it began to rust. This happened just a few years ago. I swear, you could mix cement with this thing and it wouldn't slow down. We recently purchased the $170 pasta maker and it really gives the mixer a workout. But the mixer just keeps on chugging. Simply amazing. We recommend this for anyone from beginning cook to old pro. It will be the only mixer you'll ever purchase, so pick your color carefully. You'll have to live with it for a very long time. (ours is white) We purchased one for our daughter when she got married 10 years ago. It's going strong. And we've recommended the mixer to many of our friends and clients over the years. It is expensive, but you will only buy it once.

Kitchen Aid Professional Mixer January 12/2009 - I bought the KitchenAid Professional 6 quart mixer, it was my Christmas present to myself. The people at Everything Kitchens.com are the best i found to deal with online in customer service, delivery and pricing i ordered on the 22nd of dec and got it on Christmas Eve, just in time. I have used it several times and 100% happy it .Thanks to the staff and crew at Everything Kitchens for getting my Christmas present here on time. I will be buying more from you soon from you.

Not great for everyday commercial use - We go through one every 9 months. When Hobart sold Kitchen Aid they started using plastic parts and now they break after continued use. Would not recommend for commercial use but would recommend for home use.

Kitchen Aid Pro 600 6 Quart Mixer - My nephew bought the Kitchenaid Pro 6 qt mixer for his mother for Christmas. However, he bought it from a company that refurbishes them. Therefore, he asked me to field test it for him to make sure it worked the way it was suppose to. I did, and WOW! I loved it. After giving it back, my 15 year old missed it so much she decided to buy one for me! I can't wait to try mine out. This is a terrific deal. Believe me, I have been pricing these mixers for over a year. I can't believe the deal I got on it. Thank you so much!

kitchen aid mixer - When I order this gift for my spouse we received the items very fast. The Professional 6 quart Kitchenaid is very eye catching and its very well worth the money.

Kitchen Aid Pro 600 - The Kitchen Aid Professional 600 is an excellent mixer; the capacity and power found in this model is worth the additional cost. We have enjoyed this mixer, and the Roto Slicer Shredder, for over two years and we are purchasing a second mixer as a wedding gift for our daughter. She misses having it on the kitchen counter. And, we are back for the outstanding service at Everything Kitchens.

Kitchen Aid Mixer Pro 600 - I have had my Kitchen Aid Mixer for over 35 years. My Grand Daughter is getting married. She is a self taught baker and has made some beautiful cakes, even wedding cakes. She always borrows mine. The first gift I thought of, was of course the gift that will be with her for many many years to come.

AWSOME!!!! - I JUST BOUTH MINE THE 13TH OF APRIL 2010 AND I LOVE IT.I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED ONE. WELL I GOT IT I HAVE THE EMPIRE RED 6 QUART PRO 600 KITCHENAID. IT'S THE BEST. EVERYONE SHOULD OWN ONE.

Kitchen Aid Pro 600 Mixer - I bought my daughter a Kitchen Aid 6 Quart Mixer for a gift, after buying myself one and falling in love with it. I only wish I would have had it years ago through many batches of cookies as the kids grew up.

Kitchen Aid Mixer - I got my first Kitchen Aid mixer in 1989. It was the 325 watt tilt top. In 2000 I sold it and bought a bigger one. I could not be with my kitchen aid mixer. I use it for everything....breads, cookies, frostings and even meatloaf. It is a workhorse and has never let me down. It seems like it is always in use as we make everything from scratch. I just received my Kitchen Aid Proline Coffee Grinder from Everything Kitchens. Best price, wonderful customer service when ordering over the phone and quick delivery. So....now I think I will tell Santa that I need the Kitchen Aid 6 Quart mixer this year. I would never even consider buying anything else but Kitchen Aid. These machines never wear out, but sometimes we just want the newer, bigger one.

This is #7! - I've bought 5 KitchenAid mixers as wedding gifts for our nieces (an aunt gave me my first KA as a wedding gift) and 2 for myself. The one I received as a wedding gift 32 yrs ago, recently died but I still had the 5 qt commercial KA I bought about 13 yrs ago. So I bought the Kitchenaid Pro 600 in dark pewter. I have made thousands -yes!- of chocolate chip cookies so, of course, the first thing I made in my new Kitchenaid was chocolate chip cookies. I love it. The wider bowl didn't send up the flour storm like my 5 qt commercial Kitchenaid with the narrow bowl. It is also easier add ingredients and to scrape the bowl. The only problem I have is that it won't fit back under my upper cabinets. It is about a 1/4 inch too tall! I also bought a second bowl and the 3 qt bowl with the combi-whip. It is so handy to have that second bowl when I am making multiple batches.

KitchenAid 6 Quart mixer- Just perfect! - I ordered the Caviar color and it is beautiful! Made the cheese ball mix from the recipe book for an appetizer and was worried it wouldn't mix in from the bottom, not a problem at all! Absolutely delicious! I've had a KitchenAid Mixer for about 8 years and sold my 5 quart mixer to help pay for this larger and more powerful mixer. Will get more use from this size as I love to make breads and am looking forward to trying the other recipes in the book. I also have the Pasta attachments (KPEX set) and made spaghetti last week, fabulous. Definitely, give it a try, you'll love it!

Kitchen Aid Mixer - I have used a kitchen mixer since 2002 and I love it. Kitchen Aid mixer is so versatile and anyone will enjoy having it even if they bake every now and then. I use my mixer for bake sales. It is an awesome tool. I highly recommend this product.

Kitchen Aid Mixer - I have had my Kitchen Aid mixer for years, I just bought the pasta attachments, and I love them. I would love to know how I can purchase the metal dough hook. I have a white one, but doesn't seem as big as the metal one that is in the video.

Cheese Cake maker/warehouse worker. - I bought the Kitchen Aid Mixer Pro 600. It was the best price around and I can tell you I looked all around. I tried on that other web site you know - b-y and wasted my time bidding. I hope to buy more things from you. P.S. The mixer works great. You made a friend with SUPERMAN.

Kitchen Aid Pro 600 Mixer - 6 Quart - I bought my mixer from this site (Dark Pewter) and have been using it for a week now. I LOVE IT!!! It handles even the stiffest doughs like a dream and kneads them into soft pliable mounds in just a couple of minutes. This Kitchen Aid 6 Qt Mixer's size is impressive, but it fits on the counter in my small kitchen just fine. The price could not be beat in any store I looked in even with the rebate. If you bake a lot reward yourself with one of these!

Thank You, Everything Kitchens! - Thank you for having the lowest price anywhere...and the fastest (free) shipping. I ordered this big, red behemoth on Friday and it arrived today, Weds., in perfect condition. You even double-boxed it (Amazon doesn't do that) for protection. My first batch of bread is about to go into the oven and I couldn't be happier. It's too early to give a full review of this Kitchen Aid 6 Qt Mixer, but I'm certainly impressed with the company that sold it to me!

KitchenAid Pro 600 Mixer USA/AUSTRIA - This Kitchen Aid 6 Quart Stand Mixer is a great machine. It works perfectly, and a Kitchen Aid should be red :-). You can not drive a white Ferrari :-) !!!

Love my Kitchen Aid!!!! - 19 years ago I bought my first Kitchen Aid stand mixer. It just 100.00 Plain Jane Classic Mixer. I have used it so many times I didn't think it would make it through another wedding. I told my husband that I would like a new mixer but bigger. :) We started looking for the perfect one in our price range. I found this one 2 days before our daughter's wedding. My 19 year old mixer didn't fail me again. I made a 9 tier wedding cake plus groom's cake with my old pal. When I received Kitchenaid professional mixer one I packed up the classic with tears. I know it will serve my daughter well in years to come. I love love love the new 6 qt mixer.. made so much bread my family is sick. LOL Thanks Everything Kitchens! You were fast and super inexpensive. I will recommend this site to any one shopping for kitchen supplies. By the way, I have done nothing but brag.

4 years, and it is already dying! - I have LOVED my KitchenAid, since I purchased it less than 4 years ago. I bake a LOT, and make quite a lot of Royal Icing, which has to whip for 10 minutes. My 4 year old mixer is losing power, sputtering, etc. I am very disappointed, and am now looking for another brand to purchase. I LOVED it while it lasted, but 4 years is NOT what I expected!

Pricey but worth every penny - Best kitchen item I've ever gotten. Have made double and triple batches in the high capacity Kitchen Aid Mixer 6 quart bowl and the machine never bogs down. Even looks nice sitting on my counter. Easy to clean.

housewife - Bought my kitchen aid in the mid 70's (K-45). It has made many wedding, birthday, and regular cakes with not a single problem. Now my grandson is getting married and his first request was a kitchen aid. I ordered him the KitchenAid 6 quart Pro 600 Stand Mixer. Just arrived today. Now I want the pro 600!!!

Great Product, Even Better Service ! - I did a lot of research to find the most reliable mixer at the best price and I found both at EverythingKitchens.com. The customer service Dept. was more than helpful, my order was processed in a timely manner and I received my Kitchen Aid Mixer in three days. The color is awesome and the attachments have performed flawlessly. I highly recommend this Kitchen Aid Pro 600 Stand mixer and online company to anyone who loves to cook and might be apprehensive about ordering online. Way to go! I will definitely order from you in the future.

Kitchenaid 6 quart stand mixer - I got this for Kitchenaid 6 Quart Mixer for Christmas from my husband. I love it! I have the Kitchenaid Artisan stand mixer as well. I do a lot of cakes. This bigger mixer is great for making icing. It really is a time saver. I use the smaller Artisan for mixing batters. Thank you Everything Kitchens. Your service was excellent!

It's great until it breaks. - I read about people getting 30 or more years out of one of these. That may be so but the new ones are not built like they used to be. I was also happy with mine until it died after just over a year: the gears stripped while kneading pasta dough. Now they don't really stand behind this thing and all I have is a $400 piece of Americana art for the kitchen. I was never happy, however, with the slicer/shredder since they only seemed to be able to make mush. I'm now looking seriously at Bosch and other mixers that may be built to last.

Best Mixer Out There! - I have owned the Cobalt Blue Kitchen Aid mixer since December 2004. It has done everything I've needed and done it well. It's easy to keep clean and looks like it did the day I opened it! I love this mixer and will never settle for less!

Love, love, love!!!!!!!!!!!!! - I purchased this KitchenAid Professional 600 mixer as an upgrade to my old kitchen aid mixer and I absolutely love it. You definitely have to read the book first and follow the recommended speed for different recipes. My only complaint in not having the coated beaters -- I prefer the coated as oppose to the burnished one but oh well!!

Kitchen Aid Mixer - The Kitchen Aid 6 Quart Mixer is a very well made stand mixer, and I loved the color selection. With a large 6 quart bowl, it's excellent for making cookies and cakes. The only drawback is it's large size, but I think all 6 quart mixers are pretty large.

Kitchenaid Pro 600 is great - All metal case, Hardened metal gears, this thing is a beast. I love mine and recommend this to everyone. Kitchen Aid Pro 600 Mixer

KitchenAid Pro 600 6 Quart Stand Mixer - Really loving this KitchenAid Pro 600 so far. I made pretzels, meatloaf, and a cake. So far everything has been done beautifully!! I hope to get Kitchenaid attachments eventually. I see myself using this Kitchenaid stand mixer at least one-two times a week and a ton during the holidays!! For me, it was worth the investment!!!

Kitchen Aid 6 quart stand mixer - This came quickly, I messed up the order color and was able through email to get that corrected. They contacted me through email the next day and corrected my order. The part came in on the day that I was quoted. The wife LOVES this mixer, but I am getting fat now. I need to get Everything Kitchens to carry tread mills now.
