A: The Kitchen Aid 7 Speed Hand Mixer has the digital speed adjustment. It does not have a manual slide speed switch.

This hand mixer is perfect for the home kitchen! I actually purchased it because it was on sale at the same time I purchased the Kitchenaid Artisan mixer; it was priced so great I had to buy it. I am just glad I did, because I use it almost daily. It is a little powerhouse and beats, whips and blends effortlessly. It is sized perfectly, and is not too big or small, and fits well in your hand. I am completely sold! When and if this little Kitchenaid hand mixer gives up, I plan to replace it with the same. Oh, did I mention how quiet it is?
